Except for occasionally where I seem to get some corrupted geometry that completely tanks the frame rate, I get a pretty consistent 60fps, but I'm running a pair of 580's. If you press number '-' BEFORE entering the map screen then it's rendered correctly.
Assuming you haven't changed the default keys in Hayden's fix. |

Large combat text and name boxes are part of a bigger blizzard issue in WOW. The UI keys size off of screen width and doesn't correctly take aspect ratios (I think they assume it's either 4x4 or 16x9) into account, so everything ends up being 3x too tall on surround systems. luckilly there are addon... |

I rans WOW in 3D on a single GTX 260 for a while. It works fine, you'll end up turning down the graphics settings to get decent performance. The newer area are harder on GPU's. You can use tidy plates to work around the nameplate issue. But you need to change a line of code, or in widescreen the plates will be incorrectly positions after they are refreshed.
