Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier. I'm more fond of the Cherry Wheat, though. |

Geez. I didn't know 3d would run lower than 120hz. I'll try it; thanks.
Just finished up making a new desk to fit all my crap on. I still have to clean up the wires, but at least everything fits now.

Naw, actually I didn't know what my fps was before the update. I didn't scroll all the way down in the MSI settings, noticing that I could also monitor my fps, until just about a week ago. The middle number is what I'm referring to, my gpu usage. The 258 drivers were really taxing my cards and 260 j... |

Using MSI and in game gameplay, these are my performance gains. For me it was a huge difference. Lcd readout TEMP--GPU USAGE--FAN SPEED.
2- 480's in sli, no overclocking, on 258.96, in BC2.
Exact same setup, same in game settings, on 260.62.

I was just reading on another forum last night that 260 was posted but then taken down. The guy went on to saying how he was getting +20 fps in Bad Company 2. That seemed like an unbelievable amount. |

Yeah, same issue at first. I like the middle monitor as my main and thought the Nvidia Control Panel would let me set it, but no, I had to do it in Windows. It's not really that big of a deal as it only takes a couple seconds, but it would be nice to just set it once in the Control Panel and be done... |

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm using Afterburner to control the fans. I didn't feel comfortable just letting them run on auto after reading all the other comments about the 480's and their heat. I decided to run it on air for a bit and see if the heat & fan noise would necessitate going to water... |

Before I get going, I want to mention that I just built my gaming pc ~ 2 months ago. Well, for the past couple months I've been running 3- Samsung P2540 monitors in Eyefinity through a single XFX HD 5870. I just love surround gaming, but the single 5870 wasn't cutting it. I wanted the eye candy in B... |

The Zalman's in the Elite Bastards link do appear to be different than the Zalman ZM-M2020W review. |

Thanks for that link. That was a good read. So I think I am going to go with a pair of 480's. Now my next question is which manufactures?
But I'll jump over to the nvidia forum and ask instead of here in the ati.
Thanks guys, you help really is appreciated. |

5970s are still overpriced. For $100 more you could get SLI 480s which crush a 5970 or two 5870s The thought of going back to nvidia had popped back in my head briefly as I am also very interested in 3d gaming. Ultimately I would like to have a tri-monitor 3d setup. But isn't nvidia surround still ... |

Currently I'm using an a single XFX hd5870 w/ 1gb, 3:1 eyefinity. I want to upgrade to get better performance. I'm not real tech savvy, so I'm coming to you guys for info. I'm looking at getting 1 5970 w/ 4gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102905 Or 2 5870's w/ 2gb each htt... |

I'm searching around; seeing if this is possible. Right now I'm running a hd5870 w/ 3:1 Eyefinity. But I'm wondering if get in to 3d gaming using my ati card and Eyefinity. Is it as simple as getting 3- 3d monitors (I'm looking at 3 of these http://www.amazon.com/Acer-GD235HZbid-Widescreen-23-6-Disp... |

(5970 in mine, single 5870 in his system). Same with me, single 5870, BC2 on high. My ctd's were completely random. I can go days without one and then the next it'll do it within 20 minutes of each other. Always different maps, not spamming certain keys, etc. Just totally random. I was playing on h... |

Yeah, I was 95% sure that guy was full of b.s. I figured if anyone would know better, it'd be here on WSGF. .... but it would be so great to play Gears of war 2 and 3, Uncharted, God of War or Halo Reach on 3 screens :DMan, that's the truth. I'd love to play the console blockbusters on a multi scree... |

I thought even if there was some sort of adapter that the resolution would be screwed up due to the game's console version not supporting the same resolution as it's pc version. I remember back when I was first researching Eyefinity that I seen a vid of Forza running multiscreen on an Xbox, and yes,... |

I'm running a 3:1 Eyefinity setup on my pc and I love it for gaming, but I also do some console (Xbox 360 & PS3) gaming and as far as I knew there wasn't any method to use a 3:1 for those. Now, yesterday in an Xbox 360-specific forum, someone was claiming to use his tri-monitor setup with his 360. I... |

I popped in to the forums today to ask a question about something totally unrelated, but came across this thread in the process. I've never played WoW or had a Battle.net account. Yet I've received a handful of emails from Blizzard. I never even read them as it wasn't a constant flow of emails. That... |

After watching some of the mp vids, I figured I was going to buy this. So I figured I pre order anyhow and start playing early. Playing it, I don't really get that BC2 feel. Of course, maybe the close quarter combat is throwing me off. I haven't played MW 1 or 2 on the pc, only on Xbox LIVE. But I d... |
