Resistance on ps3 had a good model for health, a mix of old and new school. It was in 4 quarters and you could only heal upto the the next quater depending on how much damage you take. i.e Current Health Heals To 76-100 100 51-75 75 26-50 50 1-25 25 You could only heal past a quarter by finding a he...

Hi Guys, I'm having trouble with this game. I run eyefinity, but I just want to run single screen as it is just too demanding, but the problem is that when I run 1920x1200, the screen goes to the center monitor but is sqaushed in badly (think the opposite of when a game doesn't support eyefinity and...

I don't care about game length as long as the game is great from beginning to end.

Portal, for example, could be beaten in under 2 hours and it was an amazing game from beginning to end.

When you run crossfire you can mix and match different mem sizes on the cards but you will end up using the smallest of the lot. As you have a 1gb 5870 just get another 1gb one as the 2gb one will be wasted. Aside: Please read this before you get 2 cards, perhaps get the monitors first and try it ou...

Hi I run 5850's in crossfire in eyefinity at the resolution that your aiming for. My experience i generall has not been good, most games in eyefinity suffer from stuttering giving the feel of the game to be choppy even though the frame rate is high. I have a mate that runs a single 5850 (res 5040x10...

The only games where you see more in 1920x1200 vs 1920x1080 are pixel based games (not including vert- games here like borderlands etc). See Red Alert 2 or C&C Tiberian Sun, they are good examples.

But yes as Hydralisk_X said, for Hor+ games, 16:9 is wider therefore you see more

Hi, I saw that review at HardOCP but I would rather know peoples personal experience with them as in terms of benchmarks/raw fps my 5850's should be fine, but they do stutter. I like that you get more res options with nVidia, I can choose 2400x600 with eyefinity and performance is great but the imag...

Hi, Thanks thales100, looks like your get almost every surround res with nVidia than three with ATI. I noticed that you don't have 4320x900 though, and in your single screen res you don't have 1440x900, does your monitor not support this res? Thanks for the info BTW how do games run, not in terms of...

Hi all, I'm just wondering what resolution options are given when using NVS? I currently run eyefinity using 3x1920x1200 and also have the following resolution options; -3x1680x1050 -3x800x600 I was wondering if nVidia allows 3x1440x900 or 3x1280x800 as options as I'm considering swapping out my ATI...

Hi, I ran a 4870x2 with matrox th2g, ran 3 22 inch lg monitors giving 5040x1050. Was great but sometimes had to lower the res to 4320x900 for some games (3840x800 for crysis) I upgraded to dual 5850's and 3 x 27 inch monitors (each 1920x1200) eyefinity worked perfectly (even in crossfire mode, not s...

Hi,

Sorry I have no experience with softTH but I am wondering why don't you run eyefinity instead? Maybe try one of those dp-vga adaptors or get an active one.

Will save alot of headaches, get way more performance (from what I have read softTH can't use crossfire)
