this is pure horse*!#& ati needs to address this issue immediately. its been going on for 6 months without a fix. seriously, is anyone running a 3 monitor setup without the blinking issue ? if so, how and why ? ...... Crossfire and Eyefinity is broke. Plain and simple. Well... not broken for everyone. I can't go above 10.2, BUT with 10.2, my Crossfire and Eyefinity setup is rock solid, no glitches, flickers, dropouts, artifacts, aches, pains, or vomiting. Sweet, in fact. 3 screen (19"-22"-19" @ 3840x1024)...

If you are not doing this already, start Eyefinity at your desktop first, then start the game.

.... But, for some reason, Far Cry 2 is very "iffy" about recognizing the resolution. I've had it working on a few occasions, but, most of the time, when I come back to the game later, I have to go through all kinds of trouble getting it to work again..... ....I've searched this forum and Googled f...

No problem. :) .... johnnyvd and several others found 10.3a to be the sweet spot driver with least of this issue, so perhaps the driver team can see what differs from that and 10.4? Dell active DP adapter-to-DVI monitor rock solid with 10.2. ... but with 10.4.... the DP adapter-connected DVI monito...

People over on overclock.net are saying that the Displayport-to-VGA Adapter will not work.

They're wrong

Guess I need some help: #1-- 9.12, then applied the hotfix. I'm not getting any kind of confirmation that Crossfire is working in Eyefinity. On the Crossfire tab, under "Diagnostics", it shows: Only one GPU is listed (at the top in the drop-down box) then lists all three monitors. I think this is ho...

Should work. Hook the displayport out to your highest native resolution monitor if you have mis-matched monitors. I have it hooked to my 22" widescreen, with two flanking 19" non-widescreen. Gives me 3x1280 = 3840x1024 Eyefinity. 1280x1024 is the native resolution on the 19" monitors. Eyefinity look...

I am using on my 5970 the minidp to dp adapter that came with the card then the monoprice dp to vga adapter to my 1680x1050 display. Question is do I need the dp monitor to be the middle monitor. I have seen many threads here that say they are putting the dp enabled monitor in the middle. I get the...

.....In CCC there is no mention of setting up multi-monitors. In some of the how to videos I've seen on YouTube there is mention of a Desktop and Displays menu option but I do not have this.....

Is it possible you are running CCC in Basic mode, not Advanced mode?

Use the Hotkey Manager in Catalyst Control Center. With your display set to just one monitor at your chosen resolution (or three duplicated monitors), save a hotkey combination (for instance, ALT+1). Then, when in Eyefinity, simply hold down ALT and hit the 1 key, and you'll revert to your one-scree...

Guys I joined this forum to respond to this thread. I have ordered the adapter mentioned and it did not work with resolutions above 1280x768. Anything higher and the screen would show scan lines, sort of like what happens when you are trying to tune in an old tv that is getting signal via antenna. ...

Ok, This sounds promising, I've been looking around at things for a few days on display port, and I can't find much of anything. Which GPU are you using in the 19" 22" 19" setup?

Gigabyte 5850 @3840x1024
Intel i5 on MSI P55-GD65 motherboard

That is probably why it works, there DP-DVI also has this feature.. someone should try it, im in the UK and if someone can find where i can get it, ill buy it... ta Well, I bought and tried the DP-DVI adapter first - didn't work. "Actively" converting from digital to analog for VGA is the key....
