It lists AvP -> Single GPU and Crossfire profile
So I installed it even though I don't have crossfire. Havn't tested if there are any benifits yet though. |

From playing the beta the engine is much more refined than the old game. Performance was greatly improved on my hardware. So even in single player there will be advantages to this. The first game didn't like it so much when the onscreen soldier count was raised to say 200 using the battlesizer. I am... |

It used to say 75Hz on the Dell site but I think they changed it because people were complaining because it didnt work on all graphics cards. They had also bundled them all with only a single link DVI cable that only allowed 73Hz :doh . The panel itself is capable of 76Hz without dropping any frames... |

I'm using 3 x Dell 2209WA E-IPS panels they look great in portrait and landscape but I have to use an active adapter for displayport. The monitors support up to 76Hz at 1680 x 1050 but I had to perform an EDID override because although the driver allows each screen to be set separately at 76Hz. When... |

Awesome. Thanks for the pictures :D
So nice to see TaleWorlds which are a small developer offering better multi monitor support than a lot of the biggest new titles. |

Your options would be something like 1) [1680 x 1050 20.1"] + [1680 x 1050 22"] + [1680 x 1050 20.1"] This would look ok the aspect ratio would be fine and you would have a slightly bigger central display. The Dell P2210 would be fine + 2 Dell 2007WPF. 2) [1680 x 1050 20.1"] + [1920 x 1200 24"] + [1... |

No. The resolution in eyefinity is based on the weakest link. All the resolutions on each monitor have to be matching. For example if one of the monitors has a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 and the other 2 1920 x 1200 then the eyefinity group will be made using 1680 x 1050 x 3 = 5040 x 1050. Run... |

Yes also 1680 x 1050 is 16:10 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1080 is 16:9 aspect ratio so it will look bad.
If you really must do that combination you will need a 1920 x 1200 16:10 24" monitor. |

If you mix panel types you might have a problem using bezel management in its current driver implementation. For the best eyefinity results get 3 matching monitors or as close to matching as possible. Matching screen size and resolution is important for compatibility with Bezel management and for th... |

Well the picture quality difference the OP was referring to was the difference between VGA and DVI, analog vs digital not really related to eyefinity. Whether it will will annoy you personally is a matter of opinion. Most monitors have a VGA and DVI connection on so you should try them and see what ... |

The bandwidth for displayport 1.1 is 8.64 Gbit/s which is more than the 7.92 Gbit/s for dual link DVI. So the limitation for eyefinity would be DVI before it is displayport. The maximum resolution at 120Hz on dual link DVI is 1920 x 1200. The lack of options for different refresh rates seems to be a... |

[quote]Thanks, I've read that review already, the thing is they're using 5760x1200=6.912,000 pixels. I'm gonna be using 4080x768=3,133,440 pixels. I'll be pushing less than half the pixels they did, so I can't really rely on their findings.... What monitors are you going to be using? I'm testing th... |

I think you should save up for the 5850 if you want to run eyefinity with decent settings. The 5770 although a decent midrange card is not as fast as the last generation 4890. It has limited memory bandwidth which is going to hurt at high resolutions. If you check this review http://www.guru3d.com/a... |

Yes should be fine the 5850 is a powerful card. You will have 5040 x 1050 as an intermediate resolution also if things get slow. |

Yes on screen text is stretched but that can be disabled in options or maybe modified later :D In the last game it would just crop the image when ultra wide resolutions were used so you couldn't see the character but that is fixed which is the most important thing. There is no single player game in ... |
