Hi Tommy,
I just tried out your site and downloaded a beautiful picture of a A380 Airbus. The only problem is it wants to save it to my center monitor only. How do I add separate wallpapers to my outer two monitors?? Thanks again. Tom |

Thanks for the help, Butch. Would I be able to adjust the size with Windows Paint, or do I need a program like Photoshop? Regards, Tom |

I have the TripleHead2Go Digital with 3 19" monitors. I tried adding a windows wallpaper image but at first, it stretched across the three monitors all distorted as would be expected with Full Screen option selected on the wallpaper page. With the Center option, I just have a small rectangle in the ... |

Wow,
Thanks for taking the time to do that to the file, George. :D I'll let you know how it works out as soon as I get a chance to try it. Regards, Tom |

Hi George, Here is my entire Window3 file. What do you mean by removing the size entries? As you can see, the gauge entries are quite complicated and I am not sure what to remove. Thanks for hanging in there with me. Tom [Window03] file=PC-12_overhead.bmp file_1024=PC-12_overhead.bmp size_mm=1828,81... |

Hi George and John, I'm getting better, but the Pilatus PC-12 Overhead still ignores any changes and I can't grab the border with the mouse. Here's the original config and the new one after I edited the size line. It opens across the whole center monitor and extends part way into the left and right ... |

Hi George, I got the Air Creation Trike up and running by adding the window_size line. (There wasn't one there.) As far as the panels, no luck. When I right click on the panels that can't be resized I have only 2 choices - CLOSE WINDOW or HIDE MENU BAR. There is no option for undocking on these wind... |

Hi John and George, Things are going pretty well with setting up the screens. I just did the default Cessna with the G1000, and my Flight1 Pilatus PC-12. The easiest thing for me has been to set any window size that is 1.000 to the 0.333. That gets me started. I then go to the sim and manually try a... |

Hi George and Jon, I am making progress in my editing, but it's taking many trials, reboots, and checks. Especially that pesky panel manager. I was wondering if you could take a look at the entries for the default window. Any idea what the "size_mm=90, 728" is for? Thanks again. Tom [Window07] Backg... |

Wow, Thanks again George and John. You guys really explained it in easy to understand detail. I'm sure it will help other simmers besides me. :D Now I can start enjoying FSX again. Regards,

George,
Thanks again. That was a beautiful explanation. I understand it perfectly. Now I can tweak a bit more and see what results I get. One more quck question if you don't mind. Why do we have to disable text with the "//" entry? I forgot to add this question in my last post. Regards, Tom |

Hi George, Well, I am back and made some changes. The 2D panel .333 change works fine! :D I can't quite figure out some of the the subpanels though. I made the first changes to to the FlightOne Cessna 172. When I first opened the radio stack, gps, etc. some opened stretched out and others did not. O... |

Thanks again, George. :D I found the panels folder and the cfg files just as you said. Why in the world did they ever put the Airplane folder in SimObjects I'll never know. Anyway, I am off to Cleveland this weekend to see the Browns and Packers so I won't get a chance to experiment with FSX until t... |

Well guys, I'm off to a great start. I can't seem to find any Panel.cfg files let alone an Aircraft file. Things aren't the same as they were in FS9 apparantly. I ran a search but get "no files match your search". Where are these panle.cfg files?? Thanks. Tom |

Thanks guys. I read your instructions over and will experiment. John, you kind of lost me with that last post and the 3D panel not the VC. I guess if I backup the files first I won't screw things up too much. I'm not that experienced nor do I have the know-how, but I'll play around and hope for the ... |

George and John, Thanks for the great instructions. Before I try this out on my system, are you disabling FullScreen in FSX before doing the pane.cfg changes or are the panels resized with FullScreen still active? Also, is undocking the subpanels/utility panels and resizing/moving them around the sa... |

Hey guys, Thanks for the information and editing idea for the 2D panel. I have learned a little more about my problem after experimenting. It seems it all reflects on having my view set to FullScreen and having all the windows docked. Originally I thought the problem was only with the main forward c... |

I think you misunderstood me. I don't care about the 2D view itself. I am fine with the 3D view and use it most of the time anyway. I can live without the 2D forward view. (My stretched view is 4320x900.) My problem goes beyond that. If I am in the 3D view, I can't select any subpanels (which I assu... |
