I know that Eyefinity work, but for now it's hard to find a Displayport adaptor and it does not work with CF (Crossfire)
But I have already committed to a 5870 CF, so any one have succeed for a 5040x1050 resolution with a 5870?
if not what is the maximum resolution you can get? |

| oh well I get bite by i7/X58 too; I have a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 For the 5040x1050 Resolution: (I use W7 x64 ultimate) Just get mine, since I know a guys over at iRacing that have the same combo and make it work with Matrox 2.05.020 and nVidia 191.03 but he has W7 x32 RTM. I did not work for me, nVid... |

| if i7 and X58 is the cause you would know pretty fast because I'm suppose to receive those next week but i'm using the current video card and TH2G, and I know it's working presently |

EDIT: 195.39 Win7 64 bit & powerdesk 2.06 work great so far, pretty smooth
ok I took a gamble because I have a new rigs comming in next week
it work, but at 59Hz ... wery weird
before upgrade it run at 57hz

I'm using 182.50 with the beta powerdesk in Win 7 x64.
I was going to do the upgrade, once seing this, I guess I stay put, no upgrade till someone confirm it's working |

| Cannot get it to work, I got 5040x1050 with 180.52 and Beta PowerDesk before. When I test custom resolution 1680x1050@57Hz it works, but not 5040x1050 then it fails. I have installed the newest firmware, drivers ( 190.58 ) and PowerDesk. Any ideas? Using W7x64 and GTX260 cards in SLI-mode. Is it SL... |

| after testing more, it give lower performance than the powerdesk beta + 182 series drivers (at least in iracing) |
