I've made my decision, and am happy with it. I've always envisioned 3 monitors but after the last few weeks of studying this, and then looking at what it would cost me to do it the way I want and what I would get back over all from it I decided against 3 screens and went with the Dell U3415W 34"...

Took a ride to MicroCenter during lunch to stand in front of a 34 inch curved monitor. No doubt about it, the look is sweet. I would be more than content with that for absolutely any use, from any type of work or gaming. My biggest hangup is for years I've envisioned a 3 screen setup for sim racing ...

So, I've spent the better part of the day reading reviews, and technical articles about 3 screens and 21:9 monitor reviews and I come away thinking, I'm going to bed uncertain and confused. I love the aspect of being surrounded by screens in a cockpit feel for racing sims and flying sims but there i...

OK, my PC build list is complete. I'm here to finally put all my eggs into the research basket on this topic. I'm looking to create a 3-monitor setup, and they will be connecting to an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card. I'm open to suggestions and recommendations on what...

I would definitely keep an eye out for G-sync if it would be me.

Its definitively something to look for on my list however, I'm still learning the ins and outs of the technology but I'm feeling as though there may be some challenges in getting 3 g-sync monitors to work and not be uber expensive.

Only FSX and it was purely exploratory. I know it can work, with effort, however my desire has for years to have 3 screens in LLL.

Decided I'm going with a 980 ti for this. Everything leads me in this direction.

Right now I have a PLP configuration with a pair of Dell 17s and an AOC 27. I can't get Nvidia to do its thing on my gtx 670 because of PLP. I've tried soft th but limitations there keep me from making it an option.

I've finally reached a point where I can afford myself a computer and 3 monitor setup on my desk for my flight simulation and race simulation hobby, of which I've had less time with over the years. I want to get back into it, and realized I no longer need a tripleheadtogo device because video cards ...

I'm moving into a new home. I'm in the need to pick up two new HDTVs, one for family room (hung above fireplace) and one for my gaming room/office. Move in time is coming quick, and I'm looking at what specs I really need to look out for to get a good quality gaming experience on a HDTV connected to...

I was looking around the net, and this is messier than I like, but, the two side monitors, those are the exact dell monitors, portrait setup, I have access to and was looking into doing that setup. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm165/itgl72/84C64B79-C45C-42DF-8313-EBD1213EC675-5228-00000425C158...

I’m relatively new to multiple monitors. My video card is a Nvidia GTX 670 2GB. Right now I have a 24 inch widescreen as my main monitor. I also have a dell 17 inch widescreen rotated in portrait. Ideally I want another 17 inch widescreen, and put it on the opposite side rotate portrait as well as I...

Electricity can do weird things, replacing cables is always a simple try (so is changing wall outlet and turning the plug around). Another thing you can do is update your videocard drivers (12.6 is the latest non-beta i believe), or if you're using those try getting 12.4. Edit: By sheer chance i st...

I can try the driver later, Ive now swapped out power wires, and where I plugged it in, and also connected a DVI cable now to the DVI port on the card, same effect. The flickering isnt constant, and its not a full screen flicker, its more so sort of a line at different parts of the second monitor de...

The resolution is 1280x1024 and it does not flicker on its own. It does not flicker when I use it in an eyefinity group. Only has that flicker when I have it set to extend desktop. Maybe the wire? I have it coming out the VGA port on the pack of the 17inch to a converter that goes from VGA port to D...

I'm just dipping a toe into multi-monitor use and have some questions. I have a 24 inch, and a 17 inch monitor at the moment (have another 17 and 19 to use if need be later) I have a 5870 ATI card. I have both monitors plugged into the video card. I've noticed when I extend the desktop to both scree...

Do we have anyone with experience using the ASUS VW246H 24in monitor? It's not in the CAN/CAN NOT list in the sticky.

Hi So if you are really wanting it, get the monitors you planned to get and run at lower res for now. Most likely for good frame rates you would probably have to run at something like 1280x800 at 60Hz (x3) anyway and your monitors should be able to do that just fine. Since I have never experienced ...

Well, I was about to make the plunge. I was going to pick up two more Acer AL2216W monitors to go with the one I currently own and a digital triplehead2go. Seems my Acer AL2216W is on the list of monitors that will not support 5040x1050 @ 57hz :-( I had a good deal on two more AL2216W's too :-( I gu...
