I've got the same monitors running on 2 GTX 275's on windows 7 64 bit. The only way I coule get them to run at max resolution is to use the custom PowerDesk software (modified by Matrox) made for nvidia 200 series cards, and nvidia drivers version 182.50. No problems with the 2209WA's, I have three here running 5040x1050 with Win7, plenty of posts here detailing how to acheive this and issues you might have.

Hi guys,
I have a TH2Go with 3 Dell 2209WA running with a Supermicro X7DWA-N and Nvidia 260 under Windows 7 ultimate 64x. I can't force the monitors to run at the maximum resolution... only 3.480...
Any suggestions please?? Anyone know how to set'em up????

I don't know why Dell put such a ridiculous price tag on this monitor, because they are offering 1700RMB (= 189€ ) in China, more surprisingly, it was under 165€ over a month agao. I think you're right indeed, I've been talking with a Dell's salesman and he said that I can get the three for 270€ which is 100€ less than official price and the monitor worths the money for what I read on reviews and if it's no problem with Matrox TH2G I'm gonna invest a little more for better... |

Hmm, that's odd, usually when someone indicates they live in an area with limited options, Dell is not only one of the available ones, but one of the affordable ones. I really can't say unless I know what brands you have access to there at a reasonable price. You may want to consider Acer, LG, ASUS... |
