Hmm... and to think I was worried I'd be disappointed because I bought the console version instead of waiting, like I normally do... Anyone who's thinking of buying the game and then cracking it afterward, should be aware of the following: "Interestingly, the studio noted that those who crack and pl...

I bought this game back when it first came out, but overall it felt more like a single-player game with cooperative play than an MMO, most of the content was designed around solo play, and gave very little incentive to play with others, aside from the occasional dungeon, none of which were particula...

I've been using Vista Ultimate 64-bit for about a year now, and I prefer it over Windows XP. The performance loss is negligible on my system so it doesn't bother me at all, and all I do is play games and browse the internet mainly. The main thing I'm happy about is Windows XP was always a pain in th...

As others said, Fallout 3 has it, but it doesn't require you to register anything as far as I know... You can skip it if you don't want to, but I like hooking up my Xbox Live account to my PC games, kind of neat actually. It's basically just an optional thing for single player games, and provides yo...

I've been playing Expert the whole time, as I do with most games, although I got bored within the first 15 minutes into the game and stopped playing.

So far I'm not liking the demo. I'd have to agree with cranky, it feels extremely bland, repetitive and generic. On top of that I was also expecting something more tactical, for a survival horror game. This seems to be basically just run and gun strafing around while firing a single weapon like craz...

Alright, downloading it now.

My above mentioned concern about Turtle Rock still stands.

I'm still uncertain about this game, as it's being developed by Turtle Rock who have a history of terrible games. On the other hand, since Turtle Rock was recently bought by Valve, I wonder if that might push them in the right direction... Although the concept of cooperative zombie swarm survival co...

So far I'm still only on Level 2 on Dead Space :P I got Fable II and Dead Space on the same day, and I really liked Dead Space, but I was too distracted by Fable 2. Then I got Far Cry 2 the day after, which was mediocre so I haven't had much interest in it yet. Then a few days later I got Little Big...

Yeah. Infinity Ward has nothing to do with Call of Duty 5. And as far as Treyarch CoD games go, I don't trust them at all. Infinity Ward is making Call of Duty 6, and Activision wanted to cash in on the franchise while they're busy, so they nudged Treyarch into doing a 5th, just like they did with C...

EDIT: Split from a Dead Space topic ... There's going to be a lot of good games come out soon by good devs like IW, Id, Valve, etc, so I can wait a bit longer through these,..meh, whatever games. Those are the truly talented teams. Funny how the bigger corporate types can afford to but never beta te...

If I had to guess, it's probably a bug related directly to your specific sound card(assuming you didn't test that already.) Otherwise I've seen plenty of people running on slower systems who have no trouble with the game, Vsync aside.

I was never bothered by the FOV on this game, the claustrophobic feeling seems pretty intentional to me, adds to the claustrophobic nature of the gameplay and level design. On top of that, if they made the view any bigger, the camera would get knocked around a lot due to the cramped level design. (A...

I love that it has options to play in any aspect ratio you want, regardless of your monitor. I can't seem to make up my mind between 1680x1050 with the sides cut off, or 16:9 letterbox... I keep switching between them when I play it, but I'm leaning towards letterbox as that was the original intende...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's all because of those DAMNED CONSOLES! We get stuck with... improper widescreen support.

The console version's widescreen support is just as bad if not worse because they can't fix it and have to wait for an official patch. :P

I'm not sure what to think about this anymore. After I saw this post I decided to check in-game for myself. Quick saved at a spot, quit back the menu, then ran it in 1400x1050, reloaded the save, took a screenshot, then reloaded in 1680x1050 and took a screen shot as well. Then I closed the game and...

The Resident Evil PC ports were definitely horrible, I can agree with that. (Although Resident Evil 4 was by far the worst due to forced keyboard aiming.) Thankfully I bought the console version. As far as I know Resident Evil 5 does not, and will not, ever have strafing at all. You're still planted...

[quote]Don't expect to be able to spin the camera around without picking up the mouse and recentering it several times.Ugh, typical designed for analog mini toggle control set. I don't call that a good port. If you don't take the time to design in a separate control scheme for mouse without removin...
