The center LCD was the same model as the others but slightly older. It may have been the reason it was a touch lower then the other 2. I raised it a bit to make the tops all flush. |

I debated on this aswell and I ended up going with 3 single arm mounts. The cost was much cheaper then a single 3 LCD mount. You can still buy them but at the time I did their stock was pretty limited. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=MA2790-PB&cat=MON Mounting them had a few tricks to get by... |

I picked (3) 20" 1680*1050 I went that route with my set-up. I already had 1 so I only needed to buy 2 more LCDs. Aside from that I thought is was a good balance of cost, a high widescreen res, and would run at native res. The downside was a smaller LCD for single screen apps and its not as sharp as... |

For one reason or another I can't seem to locate one myself. I assume you are looking for a simple A-B switch. One with DVI connections. I did find one from overseas: http://www.pcsol.com.au/2ProdDetailSB.asp?code=CASBDVI2P There are others out there but the cost is usually insane. KVMs are an otion... |

Not sure why yours isn't working but mine is fine. IE7 snaps as it should on all 4 sides. However. I have had issues with some windows not properly maximiziing as they should. At times they span all 3 screens.
Im running on Vista64 with the same version of PowerDesk that you are. |

As I am not running Vista, nor do I want to right now, I was wondering if anyone tried out the multiple monitor SLI functions of the new 180+ Nvidia drivers? Is their a performance difference? Can someone do like a benchmark comparison of the two setups? Can you even run 3 monitors and SLI or is it... |

Ok, I was able to get the new driver working with nvidia 175.xx. Shows 5040*1050 @ 57 Hz. However, in some games 5040*1050 is NOT selectable in some games. I was able to force it with cfg files and command lines. My mistake before was that I needed to reinstall PowerDesk after a video card driver in... |

Which nvidia driver are we supposed to use with this new release? Im running vista 64 and neither 175.xx or 180.xx work at 5040*1050. 180.xx show 5040*1050 but it goes out of range. If I add 5040*1050 wit hthe 175.xx driver it also goes out of range. The previous driver worked fine with 175.xx |

The lasting advantage is a potentially big one. Are you using "windows" and "windowed" in the same sense here? I mean under TH2GO/Powerdesk can I drag my browser, or any other windows app, from the left monitor to the other monitors readily? In short, Yes... PowerDesk allows you to use the 3 monito... |

I've used both UltraMon and TH2Go w/PowerDesk and they are a bit different. The only lasting advantage that UltraMon had over PowerDesk that I liked was the ability to swap windows from 1 monitor to another. Thing is you have to remember UltraMon was ment to be used with 3 independent monitors and T... |

I haven't tested it yet but I assume its the AspectRatio.
I found it in Vista under:

Yeah, the first thing I tried was just setting the res in game. I wish it did work but it won't at my native res. My desktop res is 5040x1050. The highest setting I can get no matter how I set it is 3840x1024. However there is no Full screen mode so it runs in a window (@ 3840x768). So yes... it wil... |

Thanks for the replys! (and the greetings! :P ) X-Plane 9's config is a little strange. It has a file for the resolution but I'm not 100% certin of which lines to changeadd. Enabling the vsync didn't change anything. I 92001 version _x_res_req_PLN 0 _y_res_req_PLN 0 _x_res_req_WRL 0 _y_res_req_WRL 0... |

I've been having trouble getting X-Plane 9 to run at 5040x1050 on my ThripleHead2Go set up. I can run other games like Devil May Cry and World of Warcrft at 5040x1050 just fine. I did have to change the refresh rate of DMC to 57hz before it worked and I wonder if the same is true with X-Plane 9. My ... |
