I replayed Half-life only a couple of months ago... Nothing has changed. It's still completely awesome and better than soooo many other fps's out there. I was shocked. I thought nostalgia would win. But it didn't. I remember first playing it at a mates place some 10+ years ago when it came out... Hm...

Yeah well there's online coop with the 360... so i'd naturally assume there will be some way of doing that on PC.

Yeah it's definitely a game you could play through a few times just to try and get all the unlocks without even upgrading everything. I know i was addicted to just upgrading my base starter pistol.... (which is a bit sad) Then i got addicted to upgrading my sniper rifle... ooo single shot bolt actio...

For some weird reason everything has been flawless for me except i have to have either my headphones or my speakers on FULL Volume. And even then it's quite quiet in the cutscenes. Also i had one crash on the "lost body" mission that i got past by skipping the cutscene of the doc after driving a tan...

Well i've played the console version (on i think normal difficulty) with a mate, and we'd both never played it before, had no idea what we were doing and we finished it in 2 sittings in about 10 hrs total. The melee stuff was pretty good. But the boss QTE stuff was kind of lame. Though... you don't ...

Had a lot of fun playing this on a friend's 360, sniper/shotgun are the best.

Argh! I'm pissed. Still hoping for a delayed PC launch, and that it's all just marketing BS trying to get us to jump on the 360 bandwagon.

http://www.gamershell.com/news_80290.html Benchmark downloadable, and screenshots. Looks like there's no AA though :( ugly but very cool all the same. Let's hope they make it playable without a 360 controller. (Although i do have one for GRID & SFIV) "September 15, 2009 in North America and Septembe...

I get that it's a valid widescreen type, but it feels like more of a cop-out from the developers, as then they only really have to worry about 16:9 anomalies and if they get all of those and as long as their anomorphic implementation works, then there'll be no stretching, clipping, etc. ever. It wor...

Looks good. Kinda 28 days later/I am legend, the Omega Man/Fallout/War of the Worlds/Jurassic Park wannabe. Will be crap though because it's ubisoft, and i haven't been impressed with their polish/gameplay in a while. Storylines, sound and graphics they're generally quite good, gameplay not so much.

Yeah i can also say that if you are getting high FPS in this game, it leads to insane mouse lag issues. My 8800 gt only gives high FPS in the small rooms, hence i never really noticed the "mouse lag" as being a big issue like everyone was complaining. But when i dropped a few detail settings and was...

I'm really interested in the next nvidia/ati offerings... but not the revisions or anything... GT200 + 4000 series both dissapointed me. I guess i'm just hard to impress :( Still stuck with my boring 8800gt. This is mainly due to being at 1680x1050, so nothing performs badly yet. Maybe when i bother...

Wow. As if I wasn't already completely depressed and regretted pre-ordering it, that's kinda sealed it.... The only slight bit of optimism I have left to hold on to is that the Steam version may be a little less of a faff to setup. But that's either optimism, or stupidity. Anyway, don't de-rail thi...

The reason for the way the site is formatting the images the way it does, in reference to the "why is 16 units high" etc., is that it goes for constant height in all images no matter their AR. Or at least that is my understanding, unless someone can correct me? If you overlay them, with pixel to pix...
