Stop making me feel like an evil bastard....

Counter argument song (though admittedly it is ironic in the same sense as the whole "you're so vain.."):

[quote]But on a serious note, we've been in this rut since the end of the last console generation imho. Makes sense, this is the first generation where graphics parity is quite similar between PC's and consoles. Only because PC versions aren't getting high resolution textures and hardly ever are th...

What infuriates me about those sorts of posts (the 2nd one i think quoted by OP, the sarcastic one saying just don't buy activision if you don't like it basically which is true but a bit harsh) is that I do complain, I do send nice little helpful emails etc. to the game developers saying here's some...

Yes but their model isn't advertising. Their model is the people that get addicted and want to dominate and get ahead faster will pay to buy xp stones and what not to either level up faster or sell to other players to purchase expensive equipment instead of playing the game to purchase said equipment.

The problem i see with ads in games is that "they" can do soooooo much more than i would want them to be allowed to do with them. i.e. know how many games on steam you own, what country you're in, approximate your income and whether you're in a 1st/2nd/3rd world country. Then they could pull a GFWL ...

no I didn't  made my opinion while reading a bunch of reviews, users' & officials' , and a general consensus seemed to arise even for those who loved the game & gave it a high rating ... edit: I think I need to precise why I said that so here it goes : Personally I think the game is probably ...

What is pissing me off about this game is no one can actually say why they don't like it except "haven't played it, not polished enough, too many bugs, etc. etc." I wish everyone would stop piling on. The game is perfectly fine for what it is. I almost wish this game wasn't multiplatform and just en...

it's too bad the game looked promising but it just lacked the final polishing touches ... there was probably several problems during development have you actually played it? i don't understand what everyone's problems are with the game. the only polish i can't see is around the keyboard hacking con...

WAAAAAY too expensive in my mind. Equal if not significantly more expensive to buy the games than Retail/Steam + subscription = fail. Though i think the real target audience are console gamers that want something to basically plug into their tv and NEVER have to go through console generation upgrade...

Yeah i think Grid goes out of its way to make you have memorable races where you just pass 3 drivers on the last lap and the last one you're basically nose to nose around the final corner etc. etc. which tends to make me feel a nice rush of adrenaline (despite it just being a silly computer game...)...

Rate as many of the following games as you can, on a scale of 1 to 10, for realism. 1 is Super Mario Kart. 10 is an actual motor vehicle, remote controlled from your computer. 2000: Grand Prix 3 Metropolis Street Racer Midtown Madness 2 Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed 2001: Gran Turismo 3 - 9 Pro...

IMHO Dirt 2 is still pretty arcadey. So Dirt 2. Blur just sounds annoying (though admittedly i haven't played it so take my opinion on blur with a grain of salt)

Let me guess... 1. All internet (not restricted to US based servers) will be monitored by the US [not that they don't already do that...] 2. The US reserves the right to seize any and all electronic devices, equipment, belongings, etc. etc. of any person under the suspicion of breaking any said laws...

Pity MW2 sucked in every conceivable way (considering how awesome MW1 was) i highly doubt as many people will be so easily and quickly going back for more.

[quote]Your Ini files if i may? if you could upload them all to a hosting site so i can just plonk them over the top of mine that would be great :P I very honestly do not think that would do you any good at all. Might even give you more problems than you bargained for. Hopefully, though, ATI will t...

Is this game meant to be a joke or do they actually think that truck drivers want a truck sim when they chill?
