[quote]Gecko, this sounds awesome. One thing I would like to solicit though is about language (keep it on the down low, please). Other than that I would gladly support your endeavorer. Entrepreneurs FTW! Thanks! Good point about the language. I hadn't even considered this aspect yet but my gut feel... |

So it's a survival horror PC exclusive game? Do you actually get to see monsters or they remain invisible?
Yes you get to see the monsters |

I don't like being scared in games... I just feel constantly anxious and am not really having fun.
I don't think you're meant to have fun in horror games.... hence no guns and invisible monsters chasing you around while you're trying to solve a puzzle = win. |

What a twerp post. Decade = 90s = 90-99 Millenium = 2000 = 1000-1999 The twerp-i-ness though is founded on some small bit of "knowledge" that you have applied incorrectly. A century is defined discounting the 0. So the 21st century is from 2001 to 2100. This is probably where you are picking up this... |

As far as playing with friends on LAN... all of my roommates (I have 3 roommates) play on b.net with me as well as a ton of friends who come over to play. No LAN has not hindered us at all. B.net 2.0 itself is missing several KEY features that they *promised* will be patched in LATER (wth does late... |

Not even like some sort of pseudo LAN? The reason why i ask is people like me in Australia have to connect via the Singapore Battle.net servers so if i had two connections up from my house to play LAN via battle.net basically we'd both be getting 300+ ms ping. (Which in a APM based RTS is criminal). |

Say my mate comes over can we play lan vs. each other? (or is there at least a "pseudo"-lan functionality? like run over network but have cd-key check get pinged every 10 mins to the singapore servers or whatever?... could not stand having to plan LAN at 300ms ping) (If anything the main times i pla... |

http://arstechnica.com/software/news/2010/07/court-breaking-drm-for-a-fair-use-is-legal.ars Well it seems like circumventing DRM for "fair use" i.e. you bought the thing so you can do whatever to the drm as you wish is now legal! Yah no more stupid grey area in the law. Makes soooo much sense. Glad ... |

I still said "no game" i just don't think everything is crappy. The actual gameplay bits work and are fun enough. Just cutscenes, menus, GUI, loading screens etc. etc. etc. all fail and have bugs and crash and so fourth and then no autosaving before cutscenes = replay huge sections of the game. |

Hmmm... tough one.
Probably no game. Though i wouldn't consider this a "crappy" port. It runs, it works, just no polish = mediocre.
Btw i have an impossible to finish the game bug like 3 missions from the end... yah! |
