I really like Logitech mice. The G5 and 7 are good but I think the most comfortable are the MX and VX Revolutions. No experience with the VX Nano ufnortunately. I find the MX to be really big however, so I opted to buy a VX Rev., which fits perfectly into my hand. I never get tired with it unlike my...

By the way just to play devil's advocate, I like to use my big subwoofers for footrests :P

Monte, I own Logitech X-240's, X-620's, Z-2300's, and Z-5300e's. My friend owns the Z4, and strictly between the Logitech products I'd recommend the 2300's over the Z4 but in consideration of your apartment space the Z4s are just as loud and don't take up so much room. The tweeters take up more vert...

Yup, Z4's for the win. The Z4i is the white version if you like that better. I have Z-2300s but the sub is probably a little big, so the Z4's a good choice for form factor aesthetics. I really, really like Altec Lansing expressionist CLASSIC's too. http://www.alteclansing.com/index.php?file=north_pr...

It would be a good idea to wait and see how nVIDIA approaches the GT300 release. I'm sure that when those are released, the GTX x60 model (or whatever they'll term the second best model) would be a great buy - here's to hoping for another 6600GT :) In terms of 8800GT vs. GTX stock for stock, the GTX...

Well, I clocked my card up from stock speeds to FTW speeds (670/1458/1188) and my framerate in Lighthouse has jumped worlds.

Inexplicable, but it might work for you too! :D

Ok thanks, would it run Fifa 09 well though? Here I found the specs of that game - http://ea-fifa09.blogspot.com/2008/09/fifa-09-pc-system-requirements.html EDIT - It appears that this kind of card must be in between 9400GT and 8500GT, http://www.nvidia.com/object/graphics_cards_buy_now.html right?...

In terms of brand, Corsair, OCZ, Crucial, and Mushkin are my preferred manufacturers. Because you have an E8400 though, you get maximum speed compatibility with DDR3 (10600MHz) modules. This isn't a crucial factor (I run an E8500 with PC6400 modules 'cause I'm cheap) but I thought I'd mention it if ...

Wasn't sure if this belonged in the software or hardware section, oh well.

Hypothetical question: does anyone know if it's possible for a wireless card that supports up to WPA security(either Personal or Enterprise) to connect to a router that's running WPA2 (P/E)?

Thanks in advance.

YA THINK? No seriously, that's exactly what came to mind when I read your comments. With games as resource hungry as they are, many now having lots of destructible objects, I feel you either need a dedicated processor on the video card to run PhysX or run it via the CPU, like physics have been trad...

Yeah I noticed alot of slow-mo stuff in UT3 too (while everything else is going on in real time) as well as the lack of polish with the glass breaking. I'll have to check out that Warmonger game you mentioned though, seems like it's a little more optimized than what these disillusioned eyes are used...

Hey guys, I'm looking for your thoughts on PhysX - not asking you for advice on whether I should invest in it because I already have a GTX280 but for your experiences with it. So far for me it's been something I'd rather have disabled in my games: - it's a nice integration into CUDA but the effects ...
