Thanks to both of you for trying to help, but I was unable to get it working. Maybe I finally need to get rid of my ancient Mitsubishi TV!

I just checked my directory and there is no players folder. This is good as it leads me to believe that when I drag the monitor into the house tomorrow that I can at least create a player profile and then hopefully change the config file.

Thanks for the welcome!

I have done a system wide search for *.cfg and *.ini files. Nothing came up for this game.

I am going to break out my old CRT monitor and see if switching resolutions on it will help.

My TV is an older Mitsubishi CRT rear projection. the only resolutions it accepts from my pc are 640x480, 1280x1024, 1776x1000, and 1920x1080. The last two being interlaced. The problem lies with call of duty 4. When it loads the screen loses sync as the game is trying to use a res that my TV can no...
