FAIL = 10.1 Hot fix has brought back the screwed up res on 3rd monitor on start up. 3rd monitor starts only showing a 800x600 portion in the middle of the screen. FAIL = 5870 > DVI & DVI - 1 monitor stays on when the rest are asleep. |

STILL FAILS My Sapphire 5870 has always shown no vender and no Catalyst Version. I have reinstalled and updated the ATI drivers many times and it never changed. In one last ditch effort to get Eyefinity working I updated to 10.1 But then there was no CCC panel to change anything. I spent 2 hours us... |

Displayport > DVI $110 AU. Shipping to Australia $110 AU. I thought screw another $220 AU just for Eyefinity..... I'll just wait for a monitor to die and get a new Displayport monitor. When I saw the Display to VGA that I could get to my door for $50 AU I was happy. Waited 3 weeks for it to arive...... |

I might give the BIOS flash ago. Although the Adapter gets pretty warm as it is already. Also when booting it shows the BIOS info on only 2 screens. (DVI)(VGA)(blank) Thats fine but as soon as Windows kicks in the main screen goes blank. (DVI)(blank)(DVI) Unplugging the adapter for a second is the o... |

I just got my Displayport to VGA adaper. FAIL....... x3 22" off the 5870. (2253bw-DVI)(226bw-VGA)(2253-bw-DVI) 1. Profiles don't save, so I have to reset all the display properties and start from scratch each time. 2. It requires unplugging the display port to get it to pick up again. 3. Black scree... |

Maybe Eyefinity was the wrong forum. But it is a 5870 running more than one monitor. I would remove the 8800Gt but I haven't gotten around to getting the Displayport > DVI adaptor yet. Two e-mails to Dell AU asking if they could get get it in-stock resulted in no answer. (i did get the auto response... |

I have x3 22" Samsung bw monitors runing native 1680x1050 Windows 7 Monitor set up: [8800gt]-[5870]-[5870] all DVI. On start up 90% of the time the right montitor starts at 800x600.
