Tested GridMove with Windows 8 and no issues on the desktop so far. One note: I usually turn off all of Windows automatic window rearranging features (Ease of Access Center -> Make it easier to focus on tasks -> Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen) ... |

Thank you very much for sharing this :twothumb: For those that can't get this to work might I suggest trying GridMove http://jgpaiva.dcmembers.com/gridmove.html I have not yet tested it on Windows 8 but it was just what I needed for my dual TripleHead2Go setup on Windows 7. It takes a little bit of ... |

I can confirm that Guild Wars is (and will probably always be) vert-
The good news though is that it seems to not have a resolution limit. I'm running at 3840*2048 and it works great 8) |

Cool, I've been eying up this game. Quite frankly Ive been turned off by the "persistent gore" of Dragon Age and the "extreme gore" promised in the preview I read of Diablo 3. This looks like just a fun RPG and Hor+ seals the deal for me.
Thanks for the report. |

Shh, don't tell them that having a higher resolution like 1600x1200 over 1024x768 gives you an advantage at seeing things in the distance, otherwise they'll force everyone to 640x480. That's a scary thought! - though view distance is probably also locked (I don't have Aion so I'm guessing) ... |

Guild Wars (another NCSoft game) has the same issue.
The reasoning (as I understand it) is that allowing a wider FOV would give some players an unfair advantage in PvP. Since Aion (from what I've read) is mainly PvP they've stuck to this idea there too. |

See picture here: [url]http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/6011] Since I've had a few people ask me how I did this I thought I'd put it here for all to read. (It's quite simple actually.) Here's what you need: 1) Two TH2G units and 6 screens (duh) (all have to run at the same resolution) 2) Wi... |

The problem with hoping Hydra will work is I seriously don't think Lucid realizes there is a market for surround gaming. They've gotta realize it first before they can make it work. ... All the players in video card development are still stuck in the past solely fixated on multi-GPU to singl... |

Actually, as far as the resolution (IMHO this is the only true measure of screen space) is concerned a TH2G setup is about the same as a 30" monitor. On that basis it's still better cost wise. With the hassles I've had with my 6 screen setup there are days I wish I'd just bought a 30". - Still - whe... |

3x1280x1024 because its the highest resolution that gives the least amount of hassle. It would take a lot of convincing to get me to go 3x1680x1024 with all the problems I've heard about just on these threads. What he said |

I never use them - I hate to think that I might miss something in that blanked out area. Though I guess it depends on the game you are playing. |

[quote]One chunk of software I found indispensable with my TH2G is GridMove. I recently had a look at a few 22" monitors at 1680 x 1050. Opening up a browser to fill the whole screen was often too wide. Many web designers don't code for a liquid layout. Even when they do the text feels too stretche... |

If the analog version works then the digital one should too. The only thing you'd be missing is the software - but then I run mine without that anyway (though under XP) |

Just shootin in the dark here but is the TH2G hooked up by VGA or DVI? How is the unit powered? - I know it's USB but is it in the original port (changing that has caused issues with other devices & their drivers) or a hub or??? |

There was a firmware update that allowed that on the digital version by default but it wasn't made public. However the latest firmware has another way around that so the answer is yes. |
