I'm holding out for the Eyefinity6 edition too. I'm running a 3870x2 with a triplehead2go and it's ok. But having 5x1 monitors would just be kickass.
I just hope 5x1 is supported when it's released...

It's all personal preference. I always use 1-5 for the first half of spells and click on the rest. Now I have to click on all of them. Sure it's probably nit-picking, but that's how I play. And yes I'm impressed with the speed of the patch. Very impressed actually. :D I did however post in the eyefi...

The patch works great for dialog and cutscenes. You can find it here: http://social.bioware.com/game_patches.php Only problem now is you can't move the hotbar to the center monitor in-game. Dunno if there's a way to fix this another way, but it's really annoying having the hotbar on the far left mon...

Look at what Dave said here(scroll down a little):http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=171059&highlight=dragon+age#171059 "FYI - We are expecting a patch for improved Eyefinity support soon. I'll keep you posted when I know more!" I would assume this would fix the problem with ...

Without it checked, the game sets your FOV to the desktop resolution. So if you have your desktop set to a triplehead resolution and in-game you're using one monitor, you have to have it checked or it squashes everything. I could deal with no cutscenes, but the fact that npc interaction is screwed i...

[quote][quote][quote] Bummer, gotta wait for the x2 then, thanks The x2 also needs crossfire support to work. It seems the only way to have a 5870 crossfire + multi monitor gaming, now, is using the matrox triplehead2go, limited of course to 5040x1050. Actually not really, Crossfire on the x...

Yeah I was disappointed the th2go still doesn't display the correct FOV with this game after the new patch. :(

I'm glad I skipped the 4xxx generation cards and stuck w/my good 'ol 3870x2. I was planning on going w/the 5k series anyways, so this would be an added bonus if it turns out to be true.

I installed the new firmware and the 9.7 drivers. 5040x1050 works fine on the desktop, but just like 4320x900, the screen is garbled and unusable in any game I try to play. I do have a 3870x2, so I'm not sure if that's the problem or what. And yes, my monitors(viewsonic vx2235wm) work fine at the sp...

Well yeah, that's what I figured. And I said it "can" cause issues, not that it will absolutely cause issues with whoever uses it. I do appreciate the fix though, because having Maya, photoshop and the BF2 editor open all at once sucks with anything less than 5040x1050. So while it isn't perfect, I ...

Ok, after using this for a few days, I've ran into an interesting problem. When I reboot my computer and get to the vista login screen, it won't display anything but some garble that is completely unreadable. I had to go into safe mode and find out which keystrokes at the login screen would get me i...

Well, this works great for my desktop resolution, but won't work in any games I try. I have a 3870x2. I tried with and without Cat AI on, without Vsync, etc. No dice. Oh well, at least my desktop is back to a more reasonable size now, which will help me with my modding.

I tested it and all of my resolution's are availible, but the FOV is still off. So it's just like adding the extra lines to the shortcut, it isn't fixed 100% yet.

The new 1.5 patch adds widescreen support, but after reading some forums, it looks like the beta only has the resolutions and they're waiting for the final version of the patch to implement a true fov fix. I haven't tested it personally yet, but I will when I get home. With 1.41, using the triplehea...

I posted after seeing everyone in this thread was running nvidia hardware and I saw your comment. Yeah, I probably should have been more clear about that, but what's done is done. FSAA does makes it tank though, which sucks. Personally I never use fsaa, but w/e. Anyway, it'd be nice to have more of ...

You were the one that started the name calling, not me. And while I was wrong(yes, I can admit when I'm wrong) on the gains @3840x800 after looking over them again, I still stand by my statement that single monitor users will see huge gains. That is undeniable.

If they detailed settings more, I'd be inclined to trust their results, right now though, they lack too much of it. For starters they don't seem to use FSAA, which as CPU for GPU use, is one of the biggest customers. As for you (xetura), so far you seem to me like a fanboy, and therefore not worth ...
