Hi. I'm using a DVI cable to connect my vga to my monitor, and I have Catalyst 7.5 installed, along with the Catalyst Control Center. As far as I can tell (I hope I'm wrong), there's no obvious way of having Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling here (i.e. there's no such option in the Catalyst Control Center)... |

I'd like to know how you're supposed to use Powerstrip to have vertical black bars whenever a 4:3 resolution is applied... I really have no clue.
I have an ATI card, and I miss a "Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling" option. :( |

I don't know how that helps me in this case. Can it somehow force vertical black bar... |

Hmmm. How would Powerstrip help me? What custom resolution should I add? I don't get it... The way things are now, what happens is that the image gets stretched; the aspect ratio of the resolution isn't preserved.

Hi. I'm having trouble finding a way to use fixed aspect ratio scaling. My widescreen monitor doesn't have an option for it, so I guess I'm left with what the drivers can do. For example, I want to play Starcraft Brood War, which runs at 640x480, with vertical black bars so as to preserve the 4:3 as... |
