Hi. I'm using a DVI cable to connect my vga to my monitor, and I have Catalyst 7.5 installed, along with the Catalyst Control Center. As far as I can tell (I hope I'm wrong), there's no obvious way of having Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling here (i.e. there's no such option in the Catalyst Control Center)...

I'd like to know how you're supposed to use Powerstrip to have vertical black bars whenever a 4:3 resolution is applied... I really have no clue.

I have an ATI card, and I miss a "Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling" option. :(

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ#.22Maintain_Aspect_Ratio_Scaling.22 says "Forthcoming" What I know about Powerstrip is that it lets you forcibly add custom resolutions to the graphics driver. I don't know how that helps me in this case. Can it somehow force vertical black bar...

Hmmm. How would Powerstrip help me? What custom resolution should I add? I don't get it... The way things are now, what happens is that the image gets stretched; the aspect ratio of the resolution isn't preserved.
