I apologize for posting on this old thread, but I figured some would be interested to know with a 2gb vram card prototype doesn't show my native 1920x1080. Max is 1280x800.
This is the steam version which should be fully patched. |

I don't have a 7000 series card, and besides, the result in xp was identical to vista except for the added instability from a lack of proper xp drivers for a pc that came with vista. And since I make heavy use of symbolic links I can't really use xp without losing quite a bit. It's been a while sinc... |

I doubt very much it would work, my dlp projector is a benq mp512st, which works with lcd shutter glasses but isn't on nvidia's certified list. That means even if I were to buy 3d vision glasses I couldn't get it to work as I'd still get the 'no 3d display' found from their wizard. Until they go bac... |

Been there, no help.
Could you be a bit more detailed in how you go about getting it to work please? |

The projector isn't at fault, I can get stereo working in Stereo Photo Maker with opengl pageflip mode and the e-d activator to sync the glasses. My problem lies in the nvidia drivers not allowing any choice except for red/blue since it's not on detected as a valid display in the newer drivers wizar... |

A dlp projector is what I want to get to work, lcd displays aren't very useful. I've tried all versions of the stereo and matching version regular drivers that support 8xxx cards. So far under both xp and vista all I get to work is an image viewer since it can open an opengl pageflip mode instead of... |

I have the same glasses but different displays, as of yet, I've been unable to get 3d stereo to work at all (both vista & xp), how is yours working and is it nvidia or ati ? |

The rails may or may not pose a problem, most likely it'll just increase the "finger gymnastics" to hold em together when installing. I did not however actually use 6 drives in 3 bays so it might be a tad tight overall, even if they all fit I'd be concerned about cooling though, need at least 1 fan. |

The best in terms of space to drives I've found are these: http://www.noiseblocker.de/en/produkt_entkoppler_nb-xswing.php Each pair fits 2 3.5 drives in 1 5.25 bay so 6 drives for 3 bays. Trouble with these is no built-in fan and trouble to find somewhere to purchase them, I got lucky and found a sh... |

The most likely problem is probably if the drive is sata, I've had a drive whose plastic sata connector broke off on it's own after running in too much heat, and only on the slight weight from the cable, not from any major force. No such issue if it's ide though. Depending what else is in the case y... |

I forget the name but there are some adapters that are both to silence drives and allow 2 3.5" hdd to fit 1 5.25 bay. I've also seen 3x5.25 to 4x3.5 bays so you'd have 1 leftover for the optical. I've used 3 such coolermaster bays to make my storage tower. 9x5.25 spots = 12x3.5 hdd spots. Just a tho... |
