As a former game developer, this reminds me of our hassle with the releases and the many people working on the files and versions.... If one hasn't ever experienced such a situation, he won't know what I'm talking about ... A project as huge as this, this comes as no surprise to me .... it gets even... |

I have just upgraded my drivers by simply installing the new nvidia driver set (163.71), and it still works without a problem
So this is basically also installing GC driver after matrox drivers ... I don't see why that would cause a problem |

SGU has nothing to do with that, it just enters the settings for you if you don't know how. It doesn't hack anything. All SGU does can be done manually AFAIK. So if the game does not support triplehead it won't support it with or without SGU. |

plays fine in 3072 x 768, although I hope they fix the aspect ratio, the Auto setting is useless, it even has the wrong ratio in 1280 x 1024. |

I was using UltarMon before I got my Triplehead2Go. I'm not missing it. The smart status bar function never worked properly and in the mean time, I got so organized that I don't have the need to move windows from one screen to another very often. I mostly work on the central screen and have icons/wi... |

hoh!
What about the game speed?
The game just played fine with my 8800GTS and I would have been surprised if it did not since it is not too demanding graphically. I can't measure fps since I already uninstalled it ... :? |

Kinda refreshing to see a demo with only 24 megs, I first thought that was an error or incomplete download ... :D
Graphics is great, sound is cool, however the steering is way difficult and keeps the fun level within tight borders IMHO |

There is a useful alternative, SoftTH. It has more drawbacks than the TripleHead[/i]2Go[/i], but implementing it is less expensive.

JKeefe, I dunno about SoftTh, but the topic of this thread is 'alternative hardware' |

Just uninstalled the demo, was no fun. The steering is horrible, the car drives like on soap. The best thing about this game is the menu which is way cool and stylish. GTR2 demo was instant fun, so I just got myself the full version. One thing: since my joystick still won't work with my new setup, I... |

I had such a setup before I got the TH2Go, although with a 6600GT. The difference is like day and night using the TH2Go, full screen gaming was impossible before, games stuttered with 0.5 to 1 fps... also Google Earth. Video memory size and lots of system RAM is also important from my experience. Wh... |

You should have no problems, I can run this game all options maxed out @ 3840x1024x32 with 100-120 fps, all clock speeds @ default values. Ok, it was only a time trial, no other cars, sunshine & no spectators but in your resolution it should still play fine. |

Hehe, the Triplehead2Go is not cheap, but it's just little money compared to what you need to drive 3 displays at max. resolution and max. settings. However, before that I had a 6600GT and I was able to play the FEAR demo in at least in 3072x768 as well as Area51. Only volumetric fog slowed it down ... |
