Its just because the devs made the game to work with vert- on purpose... so they didnt bother to properly model the shoulder..

Thats alright I didn't much fancy silenced weapons anyways, I prefer the .50 cal..

Even with x= 1.2... using the silenced mp5 shows off the shoulder part that UBI didnt bother to fix because apparantly they did design the game for the vert-. I cant play with that annoying thing.. i have to adjust the xfov so that its not visible or else use a different gun until ubi fixes it prope...

Ya shadows dont work for me either... same with the blue screen when disabling... Also.. what settings should I be using for 1680x1050? That games weird ne ways. I watched the movie so I dont feel like playing it. It runs like 10x faster than it should which makes it impossible for me to play.

HL2 runs better than BF2 if that helps you understand things. Half Life is just coded better than 99% of the games that come out, which baffles my mind. So I got 16:10 aspect ratio locked in on FFXI and am running at 1680 x 1050. It looks normal, but every once in a while I get this eerie feeling that things in the distance looked stretched and such. Yes they do. I used to run it 1280 x 1024. Should be able to set it in FFXI Config. Not sure if you can do it in game or not.
