I've been burned by Obsidian before (the ending of KoTOR 2 was awful).
I would be happy to see them establish themselves as a good game company, as opposed to the people called in to make Bioware sequels when Bioware doesn't have the time (see KoTOR 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2). |

I liked the first Disgaea a lot, the second was OK but not as good. I haven't gotten far enough in the third to know how it ranks with the other two, but I can say that I prefer the Disgaea series to FFT.

| 2560x1600 resolution on my 30 inch Dell3008WFP monitor is better than 5040x1050 on three 21inch monitors I used to get with SoftTH and TH2Go. Mostly it's better because it works with more games. | Yeah, I got wiped out on Monday. All three monitors, computer, TV, Wii, digital camera, wife's netbook, and wife's banjo. | I think MMORPGs are GREAT in surround gaming. I can have my inventory window open at all times, I can have the big map open at all times, I can make multiple chat windows with different purposes (guild, group, global, etc.), I can have a bunch of taskbars... Also the "fish-eye" effect doesn't bother... |
