Did some more experimenting, interesting results. Turns out that if I disconnect the fourth monitor, it fixes the problem. Connect it, and it happens every time - tried it on 314, 320, 326 drivers. Turning it off doesn't make any difference, I have to completely unplug it from the computer. It also ...

This happens because of the shietty drivers.... I have a full list of windows related problems the last betas 326.80 introduced. The major one is this crap with maximizing and minimizing windows.... It happens for me also. I just simply quit the game and relaunch it again (be sure to save the setti...

I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out what's going on with my setup. I just replaced my inverted T 3+1 surround setup, which was using four 1680x1050 monitors (one of which just died) with a PLP+1 setup; the center monitor is a U3014 and the sides are 2007FPs, with one of the old 1680x1050 ...

Forum: Multi-Monitor Gaming   Topic: NVIDIA Surround vs TH2G - is it time to let the TH2G go?

I have been surround gaming for a while now, originally using a Matrox Parhelia card driving three 1280x1024 monitors, to a 8800GTX with Matrox TH2G analog, to GTX295SC with Matrox TH2G digital, to GTX570SC still with the TH2Gd. I just added a second GTX570SC, this is my first experience with SLI. H...

It's my understanding that using NVIDIA's surround capability means you can't run another monitor as well. I have three monitors in surround using TH2G, plus a fourth that's separate (off a single 570, another point where TH2G wins.) I've read that NVIDIA won't let you do 3+1.

I will probably replace my current card +TH2G when the new 300 series (whatever they call them) comes out. Already running 5040x1050 but the matrox software is cruddy. I get very tired of it determining that my resolution has changed" and then setting my rez back to 3840x1024.

Continued... So I decided to purchase a triplehead2go setup to go with my sli'd 275's (which were also very expensive). Previously (182.50) people could run full resolution on 1650x1040 displays via that driver version with Matrox's software. Now all of a sudden we cannot. Anyone else notice this h...

Oh, I'm aware that they have no direct control - probably no control at all, actually. Doesn't mean getting the issue out there in multiple places is a bad thing, and just because they don't have control over the process doesn't mean they don't have any influence.

another option: /script WorldFrame:ClearAllPoints(); WorldFrame:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", 1000, 0); WorldFrame:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",-1000, 0);WorldFrame:SetUserPlaced(true); This script will set your viewport in from the sides some, so you'll have a black area on the left and on the right monitors, depe...

I just upgraded my drivers, vista ultimate x64. Used current firmware and drivers. I did not uninstall anything, just installed the new drivers over the old ones. Firmware, then restart, GXM then restart, NVIDIA 191.07 drivers, restart. It came up as 3840x1024, then I added a custom resolution via t...

you can modify the viewport so that it's not as wide as the whole screen. This is what I use. /script WorldFrame:ClearAllPoints(); WorldFrame:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", 1000, 0); WorldFrame:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",-1000, 0);WorldFrame:SetUserPlaced(true); this one will set it back to full, wide picture. /sc...

knowing a little bit about how some people work (the current one is "broken" with something, we will bring another one out instead of fixing it), then im not sure it ever will be allowed to run with DX10. DX11 cards are not far off im correct. I wouldnt hold your breath, but then again, i may well ...

So this game seems to work just fine in fullscreen, at 5040x1050, but when I add the -window option I get an 800x600 window that I can't resize. Anyone know how to make this game work in a window at a decent size? I hate fullscreen games. :( Give me windowed mode every time... pseudo-fullscreen is i...

Anyone used this? It's cheaper than the alternatives I've found, about $90 on Ebay. Claims to work with up to 21.3" monitors, I'm wondering if anyone's tried it with 22"s?

I'm very much looking forward to Jumpgate Evolution coming out sometime this summer. I've been a fan of space-based flight sims for a long time - Elite, WC, Xwing, etc. I've played EVE as well but being a point-n-click type game it's a completely different animal. I'd really like to find a joystick-...
