Hmm, well, Rainbow Six Vegas was fixed with a patch, but first 2K Boston has to accept that there is a problem before they fix it. I don't know about others, but the game is less appealing to me by the hour because of this.

If this is confirmed on the release version of the game, if I get the game I will go for the 360 version. Looks like 2K Boston should be renamed to Noobs Boston.

Let's see, whom does drm/cd protection hinder? Joe 6packs who wouldn't know a cd from a dvd and wouldn't even remotely know where to find a no-cd .exe or virtual cd-image if his life depended on it. or The average cracker/pirate/whatever that has a no-cd or image ready to go often weeks before the ...

Whom to blame? The average you and me. The PC gamer that is too cool and too clever to pay for a game and insists on either buying an illegal copy at a fraction of the cost, or download a warez version. That's who to blame for the increasing drm in games. Think of how many people you know, even if n...

Better try 95 series. After a complete clean up of the current drivers installed. Try google forcware 95.xx or something. Though I think Nvidia has an archive of old forceware drives as well. Myself, use a 24" widescreen and for some reason I am now used to the stretching of some games. I don't know...

You do realise if you use nvidia drivers 96+ you won't be able to use correct aspect ratio for scaling, right? The drivers are broken.

Well, if the reviewers were always not sold out, then I would trust them for the 100% scores. I will wait for few more reviews, forum posts on some sites that I trust and play the demos, then decide.

I don't know if my current set up can handle the game at 1920x1200.

So I am thinking of getting the game for the 360. But I am still not 100% sold on the idea of playing a FPS game on a console.

I have a one and a half year old Logitech MX1000. Very satisfied and no way I will go back to wired mouse again. The mouse is great and all, only that the last couple of months I find it harder and harder to make it start charging without a lot of effort. Well, it can take me up to 1-2 min to place ...

Good move I think. I almost joined the WS gaming yesterday, but the shop on the phone would not take my order and wanted me to go to the shop to order it (30 min from here), so I said ok I will go tomorrow, and by today I decided I couldn't really afford easily 940 euros for a WS monitor. Getting a ...
