[quote]Since when have you ever heard of a scientist listening to reason? They're so self inflated that they can't see past their own opinions. It's the reason there is still debates about creationism, evolution, and the big bang. Religion vs. Science has no place in this thread. Everyone is opinio...

I know this will probably be deleted, or covered automaticaly, but, what a bunch of lazy fuckers these developers are.
Are they that bored? Are they that lazy? Are they that incompetent?

Well, I've tried a lot of different drivers, options, settings, etc.... And pillarboxing still doesn't work properly. I give up.

You are not the only one. :(
Overscan doesn't work for me either.

NVIDIA FIX THE DAMN DRIVER.

It would be nice if either developers or publishers knew of this site. I don't doubt some of them have no idea we exist.

FYI, another Gears of War example of -Hoz "widescreen". (not my image) At first its easy to blame Irrational for the whole Bioshock widescreen saga but these type of screenhot seem to be pointing the blame at Unreal Engine 3.0 more and more? :? (img removed for faster loading) Since it has been pro...

My favourite is VC, the 80's theme rocks. I looooove 80's music, and all the neon signs, clothes, cars, everything.
(apart from the threat of holocaust, that sucked)

Heres a most recent example of 2 companies doing promotion the right and wrong way. C&C Gold free iso release by their makers to celebrate 12th aniversary: right way. Releasing ad-supported farcry/ghostrecon(been removed already)/prince SOD, over a subscription based download pos (fileplanet): wron...

Companies like that probably see someone mention wanting that address (even in jest) and grab it, in the hope that they can charge the earth for it later. If that was the case, then they are obviously pretty stupid, as nobody sane would pay decent money for that.

2K Boston might.

I think the USB interface will bottleneck the bandwidth even if it does work. If he/she installs the game on a good 7200 external drive (Iomega for example) and the OS on the C drive (4200 speed), he will see improvement in speed. I know, I have done it in the past. Not as much if he installs a 720...

only Rainbow Six: Vegas on the PC has an automatic increase in the horizontal FOV as the aspect ratio got wider ... unfortunatly that game doesen't have many options for widescreen or TripleHead resolutions ... without the hack. Hasn't the latest patch released recently fixed this? I run it widescr...

I don't know if the swap drive will work from there, but you might want to try install the game on the external drive.
Make sure the drive supports USB 2.0 and that it is 7200 drive.

Try Forceware 96 and lower till you get the one that works. One of them I think it works. Plus, you don't have anything to lose. Just make sure you clean install them. (unistall the current ones, reboot, then install the "new" ones). Or, instal version 94 something that should work. Then go to the n...

Having played a lot of GoW the current FOV feels right to me at widescreen. Looking at the 4:3 shots the game looks too zoomed out. I think in the case of GoWs case it is a matter of 4:3 vert+ and it's 4:3 users that are getting the incorrect "experience." As said, vert- (or vert+ as the case may b...
