[quote]1. NVidia drivers have an option for "fixed aspect ratio scaling" which will add pillarboxes on the sides when using non-16:10 resolutions. This feature appears to be broken on 8800 cards atm, though. Broken, sort of. with 162.18 it works with 1 monitor and not the other. Hooked up to my wes...

Damn - demos are getting large..

Why, back in my day, you could fit a fuill game, DOS, 20 pictures on a disc and still have enough to get a cup of coffee.

At least you didn't have to press PLAY to run the game.

1GB for a demo is common now, but DUDE 1GB FOR A DEMO!

The Nvidia drivers are broken for a lot of people related to the correct aspect ratio. What is the AMD front on that matter?

Doesn't the 2900 use far more power and produce more heat than the GTS?

I wouldn't touch an AMD card now, but it's your money.

I don't know. Perhaps more people should follow what I do, vote with your money. For example, I wanted to buy Bioshock, with the fan patch I would be able to play without feeling bad (throwing up bad), but I am not going to. If more people would do the same, since more and more people are owners of ...

If people don't understand the title then they are not going to either want, or be capable of playing such a game.

Title says it all indeed.

Does it? Well, if you knew what it was, then yes, the title says it all. Since you don't know the game, even if you just google it and find what it is about, the chances you will want to play a PBEM game with me (or anyone else) are so miniscule to not make a difference. So, again, yes the title sa...
