Here are the files. You need to rename the *.ex file to *.exe. http://cid-8c9c325b9dbea304.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/DELL?uc=3&nl=1 Your monitor (or box it came in) should have a sticker saying A00 or A01. A01 will have the new firmware. If you download the files from the link, you can connect y...

Hi guys, I posted on HardForum as well, but thought I should share here as well - basically someone from China leaked the firmware update files for the U2410 to fix the dithering. Basically moves your monitor from A00 to A01. I downloaded the files and flashed my monitor via USB. Bit of a gamble but...

Allistair is the one in the trailer, though I guess that could be deception.

Hmm...good point there.

Someday, someday they will make an RPG that will allow hardcore evil without forcing you to a good ending no matter what. Please, anyone, call from the mounts if you have to: Where is my game where I can defeat the heroes of the story and go on an epic campaign to take over a land? They need to all...

Just have to say this is GOTY for me hands-down.

Hi, it's your game so you can play however you wish. But i really think mods should be left until the 2nd playthrough. This game gives you crappy weapons at the beginning and they're meant to suck and yes you're meant to run away and be evil. You can't take on multiple enemies at once for very long...

Another 5870 vote. It's at a decent price point, if hard to find. Awesome card, I love mine.

[quote]Edited - Don't buy the U2410.

I don't know, I really like my dells, no big problems for me... just need to be calibrated... but that's it.

Yeah, this monitor has been frustrating. I'm used to it now I think. I was a tad pissed off when I wrote that IIRC... :D

I've got it, it came with my Asus 5870. Downloaded (Steam) and installed it. Played a bit yesterday. It's ok, kinda seems geared to a console crowd. I did the first race, liked it. Graphics are good. I'm running DX 11. Single screen only, sorry. I set everything in the game to max and it runs...

@cmay119 - I'm going to write a review for this monitor for this site when, and if, I receive a suitable flashed version from Dell fixing the RGB mode dithering issue. It could be a long review. :D In the interim, the short answer is that for $500 you can get an excellent IPS 24" monitor provided yo...

I'm well into the game and I'm loving it thus far. Did the Warden's keep and I'm now in Redcliffe.

Thanks for continuing to hide the spoilers in this thread!

Great game. It's everthing Oblivion wasn't.

Yeah, the Spyder calibration improved it a lot in terms of the overall contrast and color balance. However, I think I'm trying to like this monitor more than it seems to like me. I was staring at a blank white screen (Google) and I noticed a dark spot near the centre. Wasn't trying to really, I just...

Well, I have a new option - purchase a new NEC 2490WUXi-BK for about $1100. Or keep the U2410. Thoughts? Need to decide soon if I am going to return the Dell. Do you think the extra $500 is worth it for the NEC? This is the old version of the 2490, with the filter (not the newer WUXi2). TIA.
