I actually had no idea of this game being on PC till I started up STEAM yesterday and seen a demo. The game is full of your normal Square style. I'm just happy that most of the men are wearing shirts this time. Square has a thing for mean showing belly or man nipples. Game also seems to support wide...

Once again, wonderful thread. I enjoy reading through this and learning what I can. After the video examples I'm rather interested in x264 also. I've been using a Mp4 codec to compress my videos before but I think I would to give this a try.

Great thread! Its nice to be able to read about these 2 programs in detail and then see the video comparison myself. I think for the sake of trying PlayClaw did alrightf. Fraps has been on the market for some years now. Maybe playclaw can improve itself with some updates. Allowing it better performa...

EA's forums suggested to play the games at a lower graphics setting to see if that helped any or not. I lowered my game from 1680x1050, 8x AA, and high settings, down to 1440x900, 2x AA and high settings. I've been playing for about a hour and the temp is at 64c. I've had no crashes. Temp wise the h...

Man. I really don't know any other way to cool the card more then I am now. I play Supreme Commander, the most demanding game I own, for hours with no probs. But Burnout can crash under 20 mins.

I personally am having problems with the game. At random moments I get red graphical artifacts all over my screen and then it freezes. Sometimes it makes windows itself shut down and I get a blue screen that says its "dumping psychical memory to disk". This is the only game that give me this error.

While cool it sadly has no real support of USB headsets. When you select your headset in the audio output, it only captures noises you make in the headset mic. Fraps does this to.

Well I got the game and am enjoying myself nicely. Though I need a little work on taking people down. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nxzoymmmyi0 As this video would show.

It terms of music, has anyone figured out how to do the custom soundtrack feature?

Hey again guys. finally got a widescreen to test some games with. This one is a Dell SP2008WFP 20" widescreen. For the most parts its a sharp screen but suffers with color bleeds. ( I believe its called that. Its where one side of the screen has a certain color leaking over everything. In my case, r...

I hear them say "anonymous information" all the time but they wont go into detail about what that is. It could be as smiple as checking the IP addresses of player you game with, or as advance as sending off all your cookie information.

I know I personally feel that if a game is going to have ads, then it should be free to play. The ads are paying for the development cost so it seems ridiculous to me to pay money to play something ad ranched. But sadly, we do that already for TV. Ads pay for the programing, Tv show cost, and prodca...

http://www.shacknews.com/ja.zz?id=13049860 When you open the box, a big slip of paper falls out first, preceeding any discs or manuals. The slip of paper says, essentially, that 2142 includes monitoring software which runs while your computer is online, and records "anonymous" information like your...
