| rather then start new thread about this game i'll just use this one. Lots of noob questions Ok clearly the VX2025WM doesn't have the ability to add black bars to adjust to aspect ratios. | Any game like an FPS where you use the mouse to look will "lock" the mouse to the middle of the screen, so you cant simply click off the application. It's not too much hassle though, and it's just handy leaving chat windows etc on the other monitor so even when you're playing, you can tell if someo... |

| Ok i have the viewsonic vx2025 wide screen. This model stretches every program to teh edges of the screen, with or without aspect ratio scaling. My biggest regret buying this 400$ monitor. Since the only game i play is wc3 tft, the game gets stretched.....thus downgrading my play. I was thinking of ... |

| hmm called viewsonic and nvidia about this problem...niether of them have a clue to fix this problem... OSD manual adjustment feutre seems to be only available through VGA and not DVI. IF anyone knows a fix for this moniter Viewsonic VX2025WM regarding "fixed aspect ratio" then im all ears... |

| I have latest drivers Forceware version 93.71 and i have clicked Fixed aspect ratio on. Now when i run game on 1024 x 768, it gets stretched horribaly to both sides of the screen. The wc3 rez is at 1280 x 1024.
I switch to 'Fixed aspect ratio scaling' and put the res to 1024 x 768 but still it gives me streched.
what do u mean by widescreen resolution? |
