| What emulators did you attempt? I use epsxe160 and it's flawless bar some quarky sounds sometimes. You just need the right filters. I'm playing from the original discs not iso, could that be the problem? |

| I think the double gpu is a better option... at least then when you're playing a game that doesn't support a physics processor you can run sli/crossfire. Looking at the list of supported and upcoming games at the Ageis site didn't look altogether promising... besides GRAW and UT2007, nothing stands ... |

Thanks guys. I will try a few of your suggestions. As for graphics card, i have just bought a 7800 GT anyway.
Why? Did they suddenly drop the price? The 7900GT was at the same pricepoint last time I checked and is greatly superior to the 7800GT. |

| Can I ask why you chose the x2 4400+? I'm building a new rig now, I was going to go dual core with an Opteron 170 (and try to clock it as FX 60 hehe)... but the site I was shopping on sold out while I was shopping... the x2 4400 seemed like the next logical replacement, but then I concerned how much... |
