Just out of curiousity, why are you alt-tabbing out? Most games I've played don't like to be alt-tabbed out of but I think that's more of a Direct X issue than anything else. As a general rule I never alt-tab out of a game because more often then not something gets screwed up when I do. |

Check out this thread and this thread. Both discuss ATI and Fixed Aspect scaling. Most of the discussion is around getting a 16:10 screen to black bar a 4:3 game but the discussion would apply to what you are attempting as well. |

Just as an FYI, this is what mine shows: And it only shows the centered timing options if I am using a DVI connection. If I'm using a standard VGA connection it looks more like this: That's actually for my other monitor, I'm just too lazy to switch it. I have put in a request for the ATI drivers to ... |

Have you installed the lasted patch? If not I'd give that a go first. And are you saying that when you beat the first mission, and it takes you to the territory map that it is just replaying the selection choices for the first mission? Just want to make sure that I understand the problem. |

Along those same lines you might consider picking up the .org and .net versions of those domains as well. |

Just thought I'd add my findings. I submitted a ticket to ATI asking about scaling while maintaining a 4:3 aspect ratio and here's the response: "I'm sorry but this is a feature that is not support by our drivers. You can provide feedback so that we can encorporate that feature into our drivers." So... |

Wow nice. Running 1680x1050 looks great on this game. And the widescreen view actually helps some of the weird camera angles that it does.
Are there any other games that use a utility like the detectgpu.exe? |
