If you wish to exchange your games for a sealed copy for a refund, kindly contact the dutch office for return procedure...

There is a few 4x3 resolutions in there ... 400 x 300 ... 800 x 600 ... 1024 x 768 ... 1152 x 864 Give one of these a try in your shortcut target. You don't need to set it in the Nvidia Screen resolutions and refresh rates ... just try it for the game. There would be no harm in trying the others to...

@ Paddy: did not tested that yet, what are the res. for that? @ Doug: i'm doing it again right now. Evidently, i skipped the whole testing stuff.. Actually - the sound card issues I was referring to either slowed the framerates down very greatly or froze the game up - surprisingly it had nothing to do with the sound itself. Anyway - I'm just trying to pass on what I have learned from other's experiences & issues. EDIT: BTW As noted above in y...

As some sound cards strangely are known to affect BF2 I.E. some X-fi Fatality's uninstall the card & give it a shot - nothing to loose really ?? Uuh.. I doubt that this will help though, BF2 has always been running perfectly with the soundcard. It's just that the new monitor has messed things up. A...

No problem, thanks for you're help anyway. At least some people do help others - unlike EA - i'll uninstall, clean the reg., and when that's done, i'll come back with the final conclusion.

It's that, or sell BF2 to someone..

I will give it a try. 2xAA is talking about Antialiasing. In the Nvidia settings there is an option for 2xQ AA which for many causes game...
