I talked about that in the DX Alpha forum. Maybe it's possible to change some scripting lines in the code to change the rescaling factor. Repainting would be another possibility, maybe.
I'll keep an eye on it and tell you if I know more.

Yeah, I'm playing DeusEx at 1680x1050, FOV= 85.28127 at this very moment.
The only thing that does not fit the resolution is the HUD. It's the rescaled low res version but looks fine and sharp, though.

| Most originals are 3600x3600 wide, up to 9000 pixels. I made 1920 and 1680 WS-Wallpapers out of them. The size is around 700kB to 2.7 MB now. I have my own webspace, so I have to take care not to upload too much. I have to store other stuff there, too :D here are the thumbnails. If this bunch of pix... |
