Hey Paddy, are you going to make a review about the PhysX card for the forums user review section?

I would love to hear your review, Paddy. I am debating whether I want to get one now or wait a while.

DSL vs Cable. Well, I used to use cable at my old house because it was a lot faster than the DSL available to me. I was on a 5Mbps cable, and DSL was less than 1Mbps. When I moved to the new house I tried the cable service, but had many, many connection issues. I switched to DSL (the DSL actually ha...

I downloaded the demo and fired it up, but it would not give me any widescreen resolutions to choose from. How doid all of you get yours to work? Am I overlooking something?

I want to run it at 1920x1200.

I would buy it for GRAW alone ...  :D

I second that.

And the next UT game will support it. What else do you need?! :D

And it's only money. Go ahead, spend it. We'll make more!

The lack of mouse/keyboard support in games on the 360 is what is keeping me from buying it at this time. Although I may give in and get one for playing my sports games (the PS2 is getting a bit dated now.)

I guess it requires SLI or crossfire to get a deacent detail level + a PPU (the developer indicated that SLI or Crossfire might be needed at http://www.ghostrecon.net)... Wow, if that was indeed the case if would definitely be hard-core...but it might just tempt me go out and get the xbox 360 inste...

[quote]Yea, as a true GR fan I look forward very much to GRAW. I've been playing GRAW on my DEll 2405 in res 1920x1200 using a Radeon X850 XT (256 mb) PE and it is great! :D Now I'm just worried about the requirements to run GRAW in that same native res... :? ATI Says It Can Do Physics Better Than AGEIA and NVIDIA Interesting... but wouldn't that take away from the use of the crossfire-enabled graphics? ie. Then you are only using one card for graphics and 1 card for physics. I would prefer 2 cards doing graphics and a seperate card for physics... so I ...

If you look on BFG's site, they have the actual accelerator card. It states it's PCI 2.0.

Sweet, maybe I can find some way of getting it to fit in my rig. But I may have to use the onboard audio.

The Dell quad SLi system ... Dell XPS 600 & XPS 600 Renegade ... has them ... :? The alienware I looked at stated that it could not include the PPU in a SLI system due to space constraints. Maybe it meant physical space and not available slots. Does anyone know what interface the PPU is? Is it half...

I'm honestly dissapointed by Oblivion's graphics engine. It looks nice, but it's not as amazing as I thought it would be. Considering how crap the framerates are, I really don't recommend buying it for the PC unless you've got a dual 7900s or dual 1900s. Mouse-look and the mouse cursor also doesn't...

I may be mistaken, but isn't the picture of the PPU a PCI-E card? If so, there is no way you can run crossfire or SLI with these...until boardmakers make a board with 3 dedicated full PCI-E interfaces.

The 7900-series is new and most new Nvidia cards usually have a little performance issue until the first update after release. I am sure it will get better for you when the new driver comes out.

I think they went overboard on making the Blackhawk gatlin guns too wimpy now. I agree they were too powerful before (just aim NEAR an infantry and it would take him down), but now you have to place about 10-15 bullets in a guy to take them out...that's just ridiculous. If you are going to make the ...
