The only downside of the 2405, aside from price, is that running games at its native resolution would probably require a quad-SLi rig for the latest games.
I have the 2005, and I'm extremely happy with it. Now, I just have to hope Oblivion supports 1680x1050... |

Haha, one of the first things I did with my 2005FPW (before I got my new computer) was to play Quake II in 1680x1050, and I was shocked how good it looked. Sure, the models and textures are dated, but it was just so sharp it looked great. |

I've had the same problem as those numerous people on the lucasarts forum: the game freezes absolutely randomly, for no reason at all, sometimes two minutes into the game, sometimes two hours, sometimes not at all. What a piece of sh*t. There are so many people with different setups having this prob... |

Far Cry doesn't support widescreen? You sure about that? 1680x1050 is what I run it in, and it doesn't look stretched out at all. WoW, Star Wars Battlefront II, Half Life 2, F.E.A.R. (w/ hack, looks freaking unbelievable), and Age of Empires III all support true widescreen 1680x1050. Battlefield 2, ... |

Man, I'm so glad I stumbled on this thread. I've had the same exact problem with the 7800GTX and the Dell 2005FPW.
