After following this thread, I'm really bummed to see there's no work around yet for me on my 6800GT and Apple 20". The game doesn't get past the load screen if I try the shortcut trick. This ticks me off, I pay 40 bucks for a game that can't support any resolution on my monitor - forget 1680x1050, ...
