I think it would be amusing to see a developer release a Vert+ "fix" that added back bars to non-widescreen resolutions. :twisted:

Mass Effect started on the 360, the 360 is a widescreen system. All games on it from the have to be made with that in mind. Obviously the developers must have taken this into consideration. If they chose to take an open matte approach to non-widescreen resolutions then so be it. As I don't have the ... |

I'm kind of curious how the fov in the PC version compares to the original on the 360. I wonder if it allows you to see more or less. I'm pretty sure it was designed as a 16:9 game from the start (like most quality 360 games) but I don't remember how Gears 360 treated the 4:3 resolutions, if it cut ... |

The fov is indeed differnt for widescreen and 'fullscreen' I took 2 screen shots without moving the camera, one at 1024x768 and another at 1680x1050. I matched the sizes of the two and overlayed them on top of each other. While the widescreen does show a tad bit more on the sides, it cuts a lot more... |
