| kyleb, right on the spot about how I felt. It is frustrating when people try to help others in their spare time and the people with the problem don´t even try the tips. | JediRory, what was that post good for? no info. Have you tried hooking it up to a regular monitor and choose the correct aspect ratio and resolution as I said? THe TV is at 16:9 (can tell by looking at DISPLAY info).
The game goes blank when I try and start it up.
This is really weird.
At this point I'm wondering if there's something screwed up with the OS....
It just doesn't make any sense. |

I'm oonfused....I thought Half-Life 2 had native widescreen support.
Yet, when I installed it and told it to play I get a blank screen from my tv (Sony KDFE55A20).
The pc is running at 1152x684 (the only res I can get to work well with this tv).
Please help me figure out what's up! |
