i tried every way i know and couldnt find the spot where they keep that information.... gotta have to wait for someone better to find how to set custom resolution and how to fix that fov thing.... :)

a shame indeed!! i played a lot tonight... the game is trully awesome btw... and i found out a few places where the cut-down view is actually an handicap... sometimes in "speed kills" the camera will position itself so that the blade glowing is actually on the top or bottom of the screen therefore o...

well i had 2 different screenshot taken RIGHT after a load so they both were at same exact place... and they were the exact same shots as were posted a little more up on this same page! :) it is now clear for me too that they DO crop top and bottom... i even tried 1920x1080... and OMG! my computer L...

well i did try it again today... and the game DOES support 3 widescreen resolution (i had screenshot but had to remove them cause of limited webspace) anyway they didnt shown anything special except the 3 supported 1.777777 ratio 16x9 resolution! which are the following : first is 1152x648, second :...

your asking about "1920 x1200"?... well i only checked if THE one resolution i could use was there.... and it was... i have over 30 possible resolutions which are all the one configured to work with both my tv and my graphic card... i'll check tomorow for that 1920x1200 of yours... i personally dont...

just wanted to add that i got the game... and beside being awesome on nearly every level, it DOES support widescreen! I got every resolution availlable for my computer starting at 640x480 all the way to 2048x1536!!! That included 1152x648 which i needed to get full 16x9 on my 50i "monitor"!! :) no n...

i personally havent tried it yet..... and beside, i wont be getting PoP3 until christmas.... so i just wanted to get a head start before i even get the game! :)

what about custom resolution???

is there any way to make (1152x648) works with PoP3???

I'm getting the game for christmass on PC.... i reallly hope it does works.... or that someone will MAKE it work...

i went to the config file...and i saw the other 6 resolutions u were talking about..i actually found 9 there...6 4:3 and then 3 WS resolutions... same as i have.... but what if the only 2 resolution you can have in widescreen are not in the 3 little one they suggest?!? i am still trying a few thing...

yeah nothing for 720p sucks...

i can do 1776x1000 but its WAYYY too small on a 50i tv.... so cant really play a game that needs reading! :P

my "native" 720p is 1152x648 and 648 is lower than 768 so i couldnt find a way to do it... IF anyone find a fix please post it!!!! :)

well as i explained, the only 2 widescreen rez suported by my screen are 1152x648 and 1776x1000... any other 4x3 resolution that are higher than 720x480 cannot be streched to fill the screen because they are HD resolutions.. and HD needs to be 16x9.. so the "black" on each side are part of the "full...

i tried entering my 2 suported custom resolution in the .cfg file... which are : 1152x648 and 1776x1000 ... unfortunately the game ALWAYS froze when i tried to load it.... at the very first screen it stops responding.... when i set the rez back to 4x3 (using the config utility) it works again.... ed...

you think 1600x1200 is bad??

i have to resort playing in 640x480 to fill my screen!

I'd better have 1152x648 or 1776x1000 instead!!!

i was midway through the game playing in 800x600.... cause i coudnt make work a widescreen res.... but now i just cant keep playing untill i find a fix to this!! its too hot! :P

well i have the same exact resolution.... and the same exact problem! :)

ati 9800 pro 256mb.... full screen on Sony 50inch lcd tv... very hot...

yet with the patch the dialogue is invisible....

wish it can be fixed... :)

its not the first game i do patch with uniw.exe ... and never had any kind of problem with the patcher itself.... as for this one, i still cant get any of the subtitle or my own answer to appear..... :)
but it still ownz!!! :P
even though its kinda.... unplayable.. :(
