At least two people have said, "well the full game is better." Like I am going to spend 40 bucks on the off-chance that this is true. In my opinion, if I don't like the demo, I won't like the full game. And if the demo does not accurately portray what the full game will offer, then it has lost its p...

Yes the Jedi Knight series did the lightsaber 10x better than the Ep1 game. In this one you could pretty much block and attack. And there was very little variety to the attacks. It was kinda pathetic. lol

Ok, all I've seen here is ranting and raving about the game, and personally I'd like to tell all newcomers to not believe the hype. I played the FEAR demo and here is my opinion... it's mediocre. For one thing, I had to run the game at mostly the lowest settings even on my 9500 Pro, and I still didn...

I know Punkbuster prevents FOV change in Call of Duty MP, so don't be surprised if does here too.

Too bad WS is still considered a "cheat" by some games... :?

It was a cool game! The camera sucked and I died way too often, but it was overall pretty fun... especially with cheats.

I've been going through my old games collection and ran across the Star Wars: Episode 1 movie tie-in game. I remember playing this "back in the day" and am wondering if it supports widescreen to any extent. If it doesn't, I'm not even gonna bother installing it.

Thanks in advance. :)

[rant] I'm sick and tired of threads being labeled as "Solution" when they don't solve or don't solve completely. IMO, a thread should only be labeled "Solution" if it succincly presents how to get the game to run in A) Widescreen resolutions and B) with a proper widescreen FOV. If both A and B or e...

Heck yeah, this is easily shaping up to be the best Myst ever. Just the fact that I can ogle these gorgeous worlds in widescreen (and at 1680x1050 nonetheless) is just... incredibly exciting. I'm buying the game no matter what. :)

Well, even though this game gets the widescreen issue completely right, there are other things it misses on... At least in the demo version, there is so Save option. So every time I load it I have to watch the cutscenes and do everything over again. Very frustrating, but something I hope is included...

I just downloaded and played the demo for Myst V, and I'm happy to report that it supports full and proper widescreen on my Dell 2005FPW. I had to deselect "recommended" under the resolutions section of the Video options to unlock 1680x1050, but the resolution is fully supported and the FOV changes ...

Very nice, we all applaud your mathmatics skills. But this still doesn't address the issue of changing the FOV in Multiplayer, which is all I ever play now anyway.
