Can you please point me to a technical support forum that isn't filled with people having problems. Isn't that kind of the point of having such a thing?
The forums are crazy because the game sold over 400k in the first week. |

You need tons of memory to make up for the horrible server Client running the game. 64 bit Vista helps alot, high end video card helps, 4gb of system memory helps or more like 8gb or 16gb Everybody is saying Client side memory leak, poorly coded or whatever. Some people play the game flawlessly so ... |

Other minor problems: The HUD sucks, to be able to see the tool tip of what your spells do, you have to hold down Alt (not rebindable btw) then use your mouse to look over it. I agree with your other complaints, but I'm confused about this one. I don't see how they would do this any different. Also... |

Well it may be a bit repetitious like Bioshock, but from the looks of it the content is more apropos for the setting. It also seems to have unique weaponry like Bioshock. After reading about and seeing screenshots of the cartoony, arcadish characters of Bioshock I almost expected SpongeBob SquarePa... |

So Vista users with problems, try running it in DX9 mode, see if that works. |

So, if I put 1600x1200 for my 1920x1200, and use that FOV trick...it should give me the correct view right? |

Oh please, those are all early reviews. The game was just released a few days ago, and because the game is so hyped all the gaming sites are pushing out the reviews as soon as they can. When that happens, the initial impression of the game dictates the score and not enough time is spent thoroughly ... |

I prefer internet activation to copy protection that won't let me play the game..Splinter Cell gave me this problem.
I played the Xbox demo just long enough to know I'm buying it for the PC.....gotta have this game with a mouse. |

[quote]Also, what about outdoor slowdown? Any things I should try to do to resolve that? The grass density is the biggest performance killer outside. You could disable grass for a huge jump in performance (also a huge hit to visual quality). There are some mods out there that shorten the grass whic... |

It depends on what you are tripleheading. If you're going 3-way 1900x1200 then you'll need SLI 8800 GTX to max everything out and keep the FPS up. |

300 is a not a very good movie use for high def quality. Most CGI heavy movies do not look as good in high def because of the way they tend to soften the scenes. If you really want to see some awesome high def stuff see if there's any HD trailers for Planet Earth, specifically when the great white s... |

The patch fixed the 5.1 for both xp and Vista here, it also solved my Vista save/crash issue. However, now not only does the FOV fix not work, hopefulyl rectified soon, it forces my screen to stretch a 4:3 res to the full screen. BTW the FOV fix corupted my game somehow and I had to reinstall, other... |
