I think some of you guys forget how high a 1920X1200 res really is. Most people play at 1024X768 in most games. Supportable resolutions over 1280X1024 are a very recent event and the system demands of a game like Oblivion or FEAR are tremendous and "iffy" at best unless you're running the same syste...

Reformatting is always a dead last resort. I'd go about making sure that all files related to BF2 are removed from your PC then reinstall the game. what, exactly, does seta r_mode do?

I believe it tells the game to use your custom resolution.

I just played thorugh the whole thing and it didn't seem stretched at all on a 2005FPW. I'll check the res I used and post it later.
