Game was just released (Nov 2006). Although the game seems to support all widescreen resolutions, it is VERT- (In a widescreen resolution you see exact same width but less vertical) A console can be enabled by adding -console to the shortcut and there is an fov command, but the fov reverts after zoo...

While the silent storm sentinels expansion does add some widescreen resolutions, they are stretched 4:3. So i use my 'in-between' res of 1760x1200 to get half the stretch. Great game though!

you might try applying the gc2 patches (or revert to unpatched version if you already patched). Also if this is notebook with nvidia, you might to try a different driver from the lapvideotogo site. I remember widescreen working fine for me until i applied a patch and then it would tell me my geforce...

Excellent... i put this game on hold, hoping someone could hack it widescreen. Its hard to get immersed in a game like this when its stretched. I havent tried this hack yet but i will probably reinstall soon when i am able to spend some time getting into the game. Thanks for passing on this info!

All the games you mentioned should play fine online widescreen. As a general rule, i think the two are independent and if it supports widescreen and if it supports multiplayer, it automatically supports widescreen multiplayer. Those options are probably only when the the aspect ratio of the res you chose differs from the aspect res of the display device, like if you tried running 1280x1024 on a 16:9 ... THEN you would choose that setting (4:3 -> 16:9) i think it adjusts aspect automatically... those are just corrections.
