copy the cracked no-cd .exe over, then remove the speed2.undo file. patch away.

works with the 1.1 patch - had me stumped for a few days there, but i got it working again.

sounds like a framerate limiter. check the game's advanced video options.

some games actually do better locked at 30 though - gta3 and vice city get really erratic without locked framrates.

1280x768 worked for me on the original retail - but when i updated to 1.1 it just displayed at 640x480. my native rez is 1280x768 ...

quick note: installed the v1.1 patch, and got the 1.1 no-cd'd .exe - and no more widescreen. I applied the patch to the new fixed exe - and it loaded the game up, and my 640x480 was actually a iny little square on the center of my monitor. tried 3 different exe's actually, none seemed to work. now w...

I picked up thug2 this weekend, and i cant find anything to edit to get it to fill my monitor ..

only selectable resolutions in the loader are 4:3, 640, 800, 1024, and 1280x1024 ...

i'm not sure what engine this game runs on, or if it's even possible to run it widescreen.

my pc has a 17" widescreen tft (samsung 172w, 1280x768@60hz) and i have had good luck withy many games, like most rockstar games at getting good widescreen results .... but i cant make tw2k4 go wide, and when i use 1024x768 in non-stretch mode (where the screen centers with black bars on the sides) ...
