wide·screen gam·ing fo·rum (wsgf):
[-noun] Web community dedicated to ensuring PC games run properly on your tablet, netbook, personal computer, HDTV and multi-monitor gaming rig.
AMD recently announced that they have added Ubsisoft's upcoming title "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" to their Never Settle Reloaded game bundle. The game will be offered for all GPUs offered in the existing bundle, from the HD 7970 all the way down to the HD 7770 GHz Edition.
They are also offered the title retroactively for anyone who has previously redeemed a Never Settle Reloaded code.
I recently did an article on how you can add a game to the WSGF database. Beyond this, there area also additional areas where you can contribute. Two other areas are both easy and productive - the WSGF monitor database, and our screenshot/wallpaper galleries.
The following two YouTube videos outline the easiest methods by which you can contribute to the WSGF.

Raven Software has released the source code for the Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy games in the wake of the death of Lucasarts. Here's hoping we get a proper triplehead fix for these games now!
Did you know that all of our content here is community generated and user editable? While it's true most of the content has been generated by a core group of folks, anyone who is a registered member (with a few posts under your belt) can add or edit. We'd really like to see more content generated by a larger audience, and we're doing what we can do help make that happen.
We've overhauled our games database form, making it easier to follow and use. I've also just put together this video series showing how to do a complete entry. The four-parts series runs a total of 45 minutes, though it doesn't take near as long to actually add a game to the database. I spent a lot of time going over how to gather information and prep, and also providing context and background for our grading.
Check out the YouTube playlist embedded below, and add/update games in your library to the WSGF. Gamers everywhere will thank you.
I honestly didn't think we'd see a dual-GPU card from AMD in this generation, but I'm happy to be proven wrong. AMD unveiled the Radeon HD 7990 at GDC last night. The code named "Malta" card is 2x 7970 Tahiti TX2 GPUs merged together in a dual-slot form factor. It comes with 4x Mini-DP and 1x DL-DVI connections. The card was also used to demo the just announced Battlefield 4.
It will use 2x 8-pin connectors for external power, and expected to run north of 1GHz on each GCN core (boost speed). The card is expected to release soon, with AIB partners possibly offering custom solutions as well.
With the release of Tomb Raider, AMD announced a released a new DX11 feature - TressFX. In case you haven't seen the results, I've put together this comparison using the Tomb Raider benchmark feature.

Unfortunately our host had a RAID array failure on our box. Once the box came back up, we then found that we had significant database corruption in phpBB, our forums.
We are working on a mix of recovery and rebuilding. We have a solid backup of the Drupal database, but have found that we don't have a good backup of the phpBB.
Our staff is actively working to rebuild and fix the corruption.
EDIT:
Unfortunately until this is resolved we have needed to disable any new users from registering with us, although we hope to enable this very soon, our existing members are welcome to login and post as normal. We have re-enabled user registration.

With Spring buzzing in soon, the WSGF is offering a stand sale through the end of March. Purchase a WSGF Edition or Triple XL Stand, and an ICE Cube, and get three option kits for free. The three kits are the Alignment Kit, the Short Cable Kit and the Clip Kit. Together these will help you with the Spring Cleaning of your desktop and gaming rig, and help you keep everything nice and tidy.
