AMD Releases Catalyst 10.8 Driver Update
ATI released Catalyst 10.8. For Eyefinity users, the release is largely an incorporation of the Tri-Fire and Quad-Fire updates, and the AA fix for StarCraft II found in the 10.7a hotfix. There were additional performance updates and CrossFireX profile updates for a number of titles, including LOTRO and Left4Dead2.
Still no 5x1-Portrait support. We've seen it recently in the wild, and hopefully the 3x1-P CFX and QuadFire improvements are steps on the road to 5x1-P support.

Tri-Fire & Quad-Fire Improvements - Originally released in the 10.7a hotfix, the 10.8 now brings performance improvements for users with three and four GPU configurations.
Anti-Aliasing Support for StarCraft II - Again from the 10.7a hotfix.
Performance Improvements - Improvements of about 5% for Far Cry 2, Left4Dead2 and Stormrise
CrossFireX Application Profiles - New profiles for Lord of the Rings Online and the FFXIV Benchmark. Updated profiles for Singularity, Mafia 2 and Aliens vs. Predator.
