I received my Dell U2913WM just before Thanksgiving, and spent some time running a handful of games on it to see how they fared. Used the NVIDIA GTX670 for testing, and looking at how each game performed at 2560x1080. We looked at gameplay, menus, HUD and cut-scenes. See the full article for the list of games, and their location in the video.
Hitman: Absolution is an action-adventure stealth game developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix. It is the fifth entry in the Hitman game series, and will run on IO Interactive's proprietary Glacier 2 game engine. The developers have confirmed that Absolution will be easier to play and more accessible, but will retain hardcore aspects
The game was released on November 20, 2012, which is the 47th week of the year (in reference to the protagonist, Agent 47).

Strike Suit Zero is a space combat simulator being developed by Born Ready Games. Last Friday Born Ready invited the WSGF to visit their offices, show off Strike Suit Zero and talk about multi-monitor support.
The video and screenshots are taken from a development version of the game, that Born Ready demoed.
This rev is their first pass for multi-monitor support, and it turned out quite well. They've managed to get the correct aspect ratio and centre the UI in this first attempt. This is a great accomplishment, considering it was implemented less than 24 hours before Delphium and I arrived. There are a few remaining issues with some of the UI elements, but it's great for a first attempt.
During the visit Delphium and I discussed multi-monitor support, and what the community expects with multi-monitor support. We're looking for to the upcoming beta, to see how much they've taken onboard and have been able to implement.
While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen. More details and some screenshots can be found here.

We've got a quick follow-up to our survey. We've got four questions about Steam Game Night and what you'd like to see for reviews and benchmarks. Thanks for your feedback, and we appreciate your help.

The WSGF recently posted a site survey, to help direct us as we move the site forward in our 10th year. I want to thank everyone who took the survey, the response was more than what I had anticipated and am grateful for everyone who took the time to give us their opinions. With just a week of being live, the survey has collected 250 completions. Again, I am surprised at how quickly we amassed these results, and I am very grateful.
I thought I would share the results here, and provide some of my thoughts as well. Additionally, we've posted a short follow-up survey, to ask some questions we forgot and get a few more bits of info. You can click on any graph to embiggen it.

Portions of the “DirectX 11.1 Runtime” are being made available on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 via the Platform Update for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB 2670838) included with the Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview for Windows 7. This includes the updated components above, but is limited to WDDM 1.1 drivers on Windows 7.

I got wind that the Dell U2913WM 21:9 Ultra Widescreen was available for sale this morning, by way of a tweet this morning. It pointed out the DP 1.2 OUTPUT on the panel, and linked to the product page. In addition to the DP 1.2 output, it also has a Mini-DP input. This would be welcome to all the AMD users who have Mini-DP outputs, and the MacBook Pro users (like myself) who have Thunderbolt outputs.
I've got a panel on order, and will start testing games (and playing) as soon as it gets here. Expect a lot of news, videos and updates once we get the panel in house.
