Sorry if I picked the wrong forum, but I skipped NV when it came out and just picked it up on Steam's summer sale (with DLCs).

According to the site it should support 2650x1080 naively but I am not seeing that, I modified the ini files but simple get an error message and I am told to select a setting in the launcher.

I am missing something simple here as I have no issues with skyrim for example? I am running on a LG 29" with a Nvidia GTX 960.

Any help would be appreciated

I've been playing it it in 5760X1080 just in the last week so I know it's possible. Unfortunately, I set it up over 6 months ago so I can't remember how I got it to work. I must of learned how either from these forums or something I installed from the Nexus (I have like 60 mods installed). I could of swore that all I had to do was alter the ini file for the resolution. Try googling unsupported resolutions for Fallout New Vegas. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

That is my thought as well, however most of what I have read said 2650x1080 is native and its just some POV tweaks etc for the HUD. I am not seeing it as an option, rather frustrating

Have you tried editing FalloutPrefs.ini (located in Documents\My Games\FalloutNV)? If you change iSize W to be 2650 and iSize H to be 1080 then it should render in that resolution.

I just use the New Vegas Configator by Rudolf Enberg - has everything in it: Widescreen - FOV and much more.
